Time is an important resource,and the state of teachers 'working time greatly affects the quality of teachers' education and teaching.The junior high school teachers are shouldering the important task of carrying on the education from the beginning to the end,carrying forward the education at the elementary level,and transitioning to the education at the high school level.However,they are faced with the dilemma of time management,such as long working hours,too busy work and insufficient working hours.No matter the junior high school teachers' own demands or the construction of the new age teachers,there is an urgent need to break the working time dilemma faced by the junior high school teachers,so that the junior high school teachers become a profession with a sense of happiness,accomplishment,and honor.It highlights the importance and necessity of studying junior middle school teachers' time management.This research innovatively studies the time management of junior middle school teachers in the education system and social environment from a more educational and macro perspective,and uses the working time length,working time distribution and working time density of junior high school teachers as The starting point is to focus on the following questions: First,what is the status of junior middle school teachers' time management and what are the problems? Second,what are the causes of junior middle school teachers' time management problems? Third,how to deal with and improve the time management of junior middle school teachers?Focusing on the above research issues,this study comprehensively adopts various research methods such as literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview survey method and observation method to investigate the status of time management of junior middle school teachers in S City and sort out the existing problems.Combined with relevant theoretical findings and practical experience,the causes of junior middle school teachers' time management problems are analyzed indepth and three dimensions from the teacher's professional level,school level and external level.Furthermore,according to the cause of the problem,the strategies for optimizing teachers' time management are discussed in a targeted manner.The study found that junior high school teachers' time management has problems such as long working hours,unreasonable allocation of working hours,and high density of working hours.Specifically: In terms of working hours of junior middle school teachers,overtime work of junior middle school teachers is common and serious,and there are cases where the boundaries of working time length are blurred,and there are large differences in working hours of junior middle school teachers with different backgrounds.In terms of junior middle school teachers' time allocation,teaching work time accounts for the largest proportion,and transactional work time invades teaching work time and teacher professional development time,and teacher professional development time is wasted seriously.In terms of the working time density of junior middle school teachers,the excessive density of teachers 'working hours makes teachers busy and reduces the depth of teachers' working hours and the flexibility of time management.The study found that vocational difficulties faced by junior high school teachers,constraints at the school level,and interference at the external level of the school all contributed to junior high school teachers' time management issues.At the professional level of teachers,the generalization of vocational responsibilities of junior middle school teachers,the ambiguity of vocational standards,the differences in vocational subjects,and the particularity of vocational objects have caused many problems in junior high school teachers' time management.At the school level,the more serious time-efficiency orientation,insufficiently reasonable division of labor arrangements,and inadequate support and security systems in schools of all levels and types have also caused problems in the management of junior high school teachers' time.At the external level of the school,excessive intervention by parents,interference from the education administration,excessive expectations from society,and pressure from public opinion have also caused a series of problems in the management of working hours of junior middle school teachers.Based on the above analysis,this study believes that teachers 'time management can be improved in terms of breaking through teachers' professional dilemmas,improving school concepts and arrangements,and reducing external interference.In terms of breaking through the professional dilemma of teachers,the education system in schools needs to avoid the phenomenon of the generalization of junior middle school teachers 'responsibilities and clarify the vocational standards of junior middle school teachers.In terms of improving the school's concept and arrangement,the school needs to change the state of excessive pursuit of educational benefits,improve the division of teachers and the school's work arrangements,and provide adequate related support and guarantee for junior high school teachers.In terms of reducing external interference,it is necessary to adjust and interfere with the excessive participation of parents,reduce the interference of the education administration department,and at the same time create a relaxed and harmonious social atmosphere,so that the working hours of junior high school teachers are as little as possible from outside interference.
