As the practical ability of geography is formally proposed in the Curriculum Standards of General Senior High School Geography(2017 edition),this indicates that geography education will pay more and more attention to the cultivation of students' practical ability of geography,and it also indicates that the practical activities of geography will gradually increase in actual teaching.However,limited by the pressure of entering school,activity funds,student safety and other issues,the implementation of geographical practice in reality is not optimistic.It will be an important way to cultivate students' ability of geography practice to make full use of and develop campus curriculum resources,and carry out campus geography practice activities.This paper adopts the methods of literature review,investigation,case analysis and action research,and takes Hohhot No.1 Middle School as an example to take advantage of and develop the practice activities of geography on campus:firstly,the content analysis of high school geography practice activities;secondly,the general strategy research of case design of geography practice activity based on campus course resources;thirdly,the basic composition of campus geography practice cases;fourthly,the design of geography practice activities based on the curriculum resources in the No.1 Middle School of Hohhot.The conclusions are as follows:Firstly,adopting the survey method,through the analysis of The Ordinary High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017 edition)and a series of the required geography-teaching material for high school,a total of 33 themes about the high school geographic practice activities are compiled,including nine classes of campus geography observation,13 classes of simulation experiment,7 classes of campus geographical map drawing,4 classes of campus geographical surveying;a total of 66 topics of high school geography on practice activities were sorted out: 20 subjects of campus simulation experiment,15 subjects of campus geography observation,19 subjects of geography drawing,and 12 subjects of campus geography surveying.After collecting and investigating the on-campus curriculum resources of Hohhot No.1 Middle School,the survey results were matched with the organized themes of on-campus geographic practice activities,and 19 on-campus geographic practice activities were selected to be applicable to the No.1 Middle School of Hohhot.Secondly,through the strategy of case analysis,with the six researching steps of making clear the research content——collecting related cases——screening typical cases—— analyzing the enlightenment from activity——learning practical experience——concluding the strategy,three strategies of the design of the school curriculum resources of geography practice cases,based on the analysis of geographical practice researches cases from predecessors,were proposed,namely to improve geographic practice,to promote the development of students for the purpose.The curriculum standard textbook determined the theme and extended it appropriately according to the school condition,it refined the four links of case design to improve the feasibility of the activity,and summed up the geography practice cases based on campus course resources basically composed of 10 parts: activity background,activity theme and subject,course standard interpretation(course standard requirements),study situation analysis,activity objective,activity time,activity location,participants,activity design(activity implementation)and others;Thirdly,in order to test the proposed design strategy and composition of activity design guidance,selectively develop curriculum resources on the campus of the No.1 Middle School of Hohhot,eight schemes of four types of practices have been designed,specifically including:soil erosion simulation activity designing,the investigation for the spirit of "Camels Literary Giant" Rong Xiang,surveying and mapping for the No.1 Middle School of Hohhot,soil profile observing for the No.1 Middle School of Hohhot,measuring the angle of the sun at noon,calculating the latitude and longitude of the campus respectively,water quality detection of Zadagai River,observing the sunspot activities and mapping the community.Finally,two practice cases: "mapping of community" and "Measuring the angle of the midday sun,calculating the latitude and longitude of the campus",were selected for implementation.On this basis,four general strategies for the implementation of campus practice activities are put forward: make clear the objectives of activities adopting various forms;exercise their volitional quality through exerting students' subjective initiative;teachers and students sum up in order to sublimate the role of practice education;guide students' activity behavior through designing practical activity evaluation scale.To sum up,the research conclusions of this paper can help frontline geography teachers design campus geography practice activities,and provide ideas and references from the selection of activity themes,the composition of activity cases,and the design of activity objectives.At the same time,the 8 activity cases selectively developed by the author can be used by teachers and students of Hohhot No.1 Middle School to improve students' geographical practice ability.
