Vocational education is very significant to economic and social development.It offers a considerable proportion of technical talents for all walks of life.As China's economy goes global,more skilled talents are needed to work in the front line,and vocational education is more concerned.As an important part of vocational education,secondary vocational education has also achieved better development.Along with the rapid development of secondary vocational education,the talent training model and teaching methods of secondary vocational schools are also actively reforms.This paper aims at the problems in the teaching of "Computer Application Fundamentals" in secondary vocational schools,and applies mind map to classroom teaching in order to explore a teaching method that is more suitable for cultivating the comprehensive ability of secondary vocational school students.Based on the existing research results,this paper uses questionnaire survey,interview research,experimental research and other methods to carry out experimental research on two classes of computer major at grade 18 in our school.At first,I investigated the teaching status of "basic application computer " course.Then,according to the problems existing in the teaching process,a teaching design based on mind map is designed.Next,carry on the experiment teaching research.The class using mind map for classroom teaching is regarded as the experimental class.The class using traditional blackboard writing and PPT courseware for classroom teaching is compared class.Finally,after three months' teaching experiment,the data of computer test and questionnaires of the two classes before and after the experiment are analyzed,and the results show that:First,the application of mind map can enable students master the knowledge structure clearly,master the operation skills,finish the learning tasks more quickly and more effectively,and raise the study efficiency,so as to improve the learning performance of students in this course and reduce the formation of students with learning difficulties.Second,the Classroom teaching based on mind map can improve students' ability to understand and apply knowledge,but the contribution to the cultivation of memory ability is the same as that of traditional teaching methods.Third,the Classroom teaching based on mind map can mobilize students' enthusiasm and interest in learning to a certain extent.Fourth,the application of mind map can promote students' ability of independent learning,cooperative learning and it can cultivate students' ability of creative thinking,logical thinking.The above conclusions show that the use of mind map in actual teaching can not only stimulate students' interest in learning and improve their academic performance,but also cultivate students' good learning strategies.It also plays a role in improving students' comprehensive ability.The promotion role provides a new direction for our teaching reform.
