The Impact Of Education Practical Knowledge On The Teaching Ability Of Physical Education Student Teachers

Physical education is an important content of school education,which makes a significant contribution for guiding the healthy development of young people and cultivating their strong physique and perseverance.In a word,teachers' physical education ability plays a decisive role.Physical education ability is the most fundamental ability of physical education teachers,while the level of teaching ability is directly related to the quality of physical education.As an important part of physical education teaching,physical education student teachers are the backbone and fresh blood of future physical education teachers.Hence,it is particularly important to improve the teaching ability of physical education student teachers.This study aims to reveal the relationship between the practical knowledge and the teaching ability of physical education student teachers by adopting literature,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics,and comparative analysis methods.The research results show that the structure of teacher's practical knowledge can be defined as six factors including educational beliefs,self-knowledge,interpersonal knowledge,situational knowledge,strategic knowledge and critical reflective knowledge;in the teaching practice,the physical education student teachers gain a more comprehensive understanding of teachers' practical knowledge,and explore the access to teachers' practical knowledge during the formation process of six knowledge contents;it is confirmed that the teacher's practical knowledge has a promoting impact on sports knowledge literacy,physical education design ability,physical education implementation ability,and physical education evaluation ability.Therefore,we can effectively improve the physical education student teachers' teaching ability by strengthening their practical knowledge learning,emphasising on the work training,clarifying the training purpose,improving the instructors' guidance work,promoting the change of role consciousness of physical education student teachers.However,there are still some deficiencies in the process of expanding student teachers' practical knowledge.For example,the inadequate preparation for teaching practice work,the unclear purpose of work training,the instructor's guidance to physical education student teachers needs to be improved,and the lack of awareness of summary and reflection.Therefore,we should strengthen the practical knowledge of physical education student teachers,pay attention to work training,clarify the training purpose,strengthen the instructor's guidance on physical education student teachers,change the thinking of physical education student teachers,improve the teacher's role awareness,and provide reference for the development of the teaching ability of the physical education student teachers in the future.
