As the development of society, we should cultivate students with bothall-development and health, and the key of realize it is to enhance the school physicaleducation, and the key of school physical education is PE teacher. How to cultivate aexcellent PE teacher who can adapt to the development of era, relates directly to theall-round growing of the next generation. PE-education have the duty to cultivate aexcellent teacher, and his knowledge system building as a student will effect directlyhis development as a PE teacher.With the methods of documentary analysis, questionnaire investigation,interview and statistical analysis, taking Shanghai University of sport as an example,researching on the PE teacher knowledge preparation of the undergraduate students ofphysical education, including education theory knowledge, curriculum knowledge,sports discipline knowledge, sports teaching knowledge and contexts knowledge, inorder to find out the deficiency of their PE teacher knowledge and the problem inreality, and aiming at these condition, giving suggestions for curriculum reform ofPhysical Education Major.Our research find out the results as follow:1)the PE teacher knowledge can be divided into five modules: education theoryknowledge, curriculum knowledge, sports discipline knowledge, sports teachingknowledge and contexts knowledge and every module includes its own concretecontents.2)The situation of knowledge acquisition of students of physical education is notWell mostly.3)Students of physical education have a poor curriculum consciousness and lowmastery degree of curriculum knowledge.4)Students of physical education lack a necessary physical humanistic literacy andknowledge of sports humanistic sociology.5)Students of physical education lack the knowledge of sports teaching, especially theknowledge of teaching strategies.have a poor mastery of contexts knowledge anddon’t think it’s important.And we Put forward the proposal to those conditions as follow:1)Enhancing the engagement of the curriculum of physical education, in order tohaving a steady basis of education theory knowledge.2)Increasing hours of curriculum knowledge and enhancing the curriculumconsciousness of students of3) Improving the breadth and the depth in sports ability of physical educationstudents.4)Adjusting the structure of Practical courses, in order to promoting the student tohave a comprehensive practical experience.5)Teaching Students of physical education to catch useful contexts knowledge, inorder to improvement their teaching process.
