Nowadays,under the gradually hot background of “mathematical core competencies”,how to teach in the field of “graphics and geometry”in our primary school can implement the core competencies of primary school mathematics.This is a problem of worth studying.This study uses literature analysis to sort out the core competencies of mathematics and the teaching related research of “graphics and geometry”.On this basis,the questionnaire and interview survey method are used to understand the teaching status of “graphics and geometry” under the background of the core competencies of the primary school mathematics.By using description analysis,difference analysis,correlation analysis,and word frequency analysis,analyze and summarize the survey results.Then summed up the problems in the teaching status of “graphics and geometry”under the background of the core competencies of the primary school mathematics: male and female primary school mathematics teachers are seriously unbalanced,male primary school mathematics teachers are scarce;primary mathematics highly educated teachers who are master or doctors are too few;primary mathematics teachers generally work in Large amount,and teaching effect,teaching quality is difficultly to guarantee;in the teacher teaching design(preparation)dimension,the theoretical basis of teacher teaching design is weak,and the specific teaching design ability should be improved;in the teacher teaching implementation(class)dimension,teacher classroom teaching of the four basic teaching links should be perfected,and the use of various teaching media means is lacking;in the teacher evaluation and reflection(reflective teaching)dimension,the evaluation of teaching results is not good and the reflection teaching should be improved.Based on the analysis of the status,problems and causes,this paper proposes the teaching suggestion of "Graphics and Geometry" under the background of the core competencies of the primary school mathematics: improving the treatment of primary mathematics teachers,attract excellent normal students;rationally arranging the workload of primary mathematics teachers promote the optimization of teaching quality;Learning mathematical core competencies related theories,improve teaching design ability;improve well the four basic teaching links of classroom teaching,and actively adopt various teaching media means;enhance the effect of teaching evaluation,and actively promote teaching reflection.Finally,by using the case study method,collect and organize the excellent classic teaching cases of “Graphics and Geometry”under the background of the core competencies of the primary school mathematics,and provide reference for first-line primary school mathematics teachers.
