As the starting point of the national education series,primary school education bears the weight of the important role of groundwork,and this foundation is not only the foundation of knowledge,but also the foundation of personality development.Primary school education has a responsibility to lay a good foundation for the students' development.As the main subject of primary school education,the elementary school mathematics is not only on the basic knowledge of mathematics;the ultimate goal of elementary school mathematics education is the development of men,development of men's thinking and cultivation of the mathematical core competencies that every citizen should have in modern society.No one discipline can play such an important role like math in training students' rational thinking.While,for the primary school students who just enter the gate of mathematics,still ignorant in thinking,teachers should have the unique methods different from the other cultivating methods in different learning periods on how to teach them mathematical thinking,cultivate their rational thinking and improve their mathematical core competencies.In addition,since the new curriculum reform,the elementary school mathematics teaching,once appeared as putting too much emphasis on the lively form and ignoring the mathematical nature has attracted the attention of mathematics educators and caused vigorous discussion.The promulgation of the compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards(2011 edition)“works as an indicator of the first-line teachers,making them see the return of mathematical nature.On September 13,2016,the report of The Core competencies of the Chinese Students' Development was released,aiming "to cultivate all-round man" as the core,concretely elaborating for 18 "national identities" and other essentials.After the launch of the report,the discussion of the core competencies of different subjects is still growing.In actual teaching,what scale should the teachers grasp so that they can not only conform to the concept of new curriculum,realize the mathematical thinking and promote competencies in order to reach the aim of cultivating human beings? This is the focus of this study.So this study will puts forward the strategies of the cultivation of the mathematical thinking and mathematical competencies based on the connotation of the elementary school mathematical competencies and the model of the core mathematical competencies in elementary schools.The study makes theoretical investigation using the literature method and Conducts practical research using the field method through the investigation and observing the classroom teaching.The conclusion of this study is: Elementary school mathematics teaching should follow the elementary school's thought development rule,teach the students to think and cultivate the mathematical thinking and mathematical competencies.It initiates "interesting thinking" of the elementary mathematics teaching and advocates natural education.details are as follows:This study is divided into six chapters.The first chapter: Introduction.It puts forward the research background,purpose,significance and methods,defines the relevant concepts of the mathematical thought,mathematical thinking,mathematical thought method,mathematical core competencies and clears logical relations between concepts.The second chapter: Literature review.This Chapter combs the domestic and foreign research results about the mathematical thought,mathematical thinking,mathematical thought method and mathematical core competencies.A brief reason analysis of the inadequacies of the relevant studies on the primary school education is pointed out.Literature review clears the existing research results,and definites the direction of this study.The third chapter: Theoretical basis.The teaching research of the elementary mathematical thinking and mathematical competencies are firstly based on physiological theory.The research of brain science provides the feasible material basis for the students' thinking training.Psychological theory points out that the children's thinking development during the period of 6 ~ 12 years old(elementary school)is in an important transition stage.Piaget's theory of cognitive development is the important support of this study;for the training of primary school students,the cultivation of thinking should let nature take its course.The theory of natural education since Socrates in the west has great inspiration to this research;due to the particularity of mathematics education,Freudenthal's education theory of “realistic mathematics ” of mathematical thinking and core mathematical competencies for elementary school students enhances the specific guidance value.The fourth chapter: competencies construction.This chapter puts forward the math's construction theory of the elementary school mathematical competencies and builds the model of the core mathematical competencies in elementary schools.The fifth chapter: The existing problems.From two different dimensions of students and mathematics teachers,the questionnaire and interview survey were carried on respectively,so as to clearly grasp the present situation of mathematics teaching and learning in primary school.Through in-depth primary school class observation,the existing problems of the cultivation the core mathematical competencies are discovered.The sixth chapter: Teaching strategies.This is the main content of this research.Based on the theory,this chapter puts forward the strategies of the cultivation of the mathematical thinking and mathematical competencies in terms of the mathematical interest,the mathematical thought,mathematical thinking,mathematical thought method,global teaching of mathematical core competencies directing against the existing problems.Especially,the chapter puts forward the "three no principles" and the "RQSES" five-step training methods of the elementary school core mathematical competencies----"to teach reading-to teach questioning-to teach studying-to teach expressing-to teach summarizing",then advocates "interesting thinking"--the elementary school mathematics teaching.The last chapter: Research conclusion,rethinking and reflection.This chapter puts forward the reflection summarizes the research achievement and analyzes some weak point of the research so as to present the perspective of the further research.
