Physical education in secondary school entrance examination is an important measure in the development of physical education in our country,and it is a unique means of verifying the quality of physical education classroom teaching in our country,which promotes the development of physical education in our country to a certain extent.This paper investigates and studies the operation of physical education in junior middle schools in Jiangbei District under the background of physical education for secondary school entrance examination in Ningbo City.Through the methods of literature,questionnaire and mathematical statistics,drawing on the theoretical knowledge of school physical education and physical education teaching theory,this paper analyses the problems and shortcomings in the operation of physical education in junior middle schools in Jiangbei District,and combines the interviews of front-line teachers and experts and scholars,with a view to mentioning them.The corresponding coping strategies are put forward to provide reference and reference for school physical education teaching in Jiangbei District in the future.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Students choose swimming,one-minute rope skipping and standing long jump more,basketball and football less;the main reasons for choosing test items are "easy to get points" and "participation in peacetime";students in the high school entrance examination sports score rate is high;girls' pressure is higher than boys.(2)The students mainly take part in the physical examination for a long time,the enthusiasm of physical participation is not obvious,the number of students' illness is reduced,and the sports skills are enhanced;the professional status of teachers has been upgraded,and the teaching pressures are high;there is a phenomenon of "examination-oriented education" in teaching,which pays too much attention to the physical examination results,ignores the students' subjective initiative,and will take the physical examination for secondary school.As the main teaching content,the middle school examination project regards the mastery of sports skills as the primary goal of teaching.There are many methods of teaching,such as explanation,demonstration and repetition,and fewer methods of games and competitions.(3)The problems existing in the operation of physical education teaching in junior middle schools in Jiangbei District are as follows: the mastery of students' sports skills is out of touch with the cultivation of their interests;the current teaching environment can not meet the teaching needs;the teaching content is single;the teaching methods are traditional;and the pressure of Physical Education Teachers is great.(4)Combining with the current background of physical education in the middle school entrance examination of Ningbo City,the following countermeasures are provided for the junior middle school physical education teaching in Jiangbei District: the teaching objectives should focus on the combination of score improvement and interest cultivation;the teaching environment should create a good teaching atmosphere and optimize venues and facilities;the teaching content should combine the examination content with extracurricular content;and the teaching methods should adopt interesting and diversified sports teaching methods.We should renew the teaching idea of PE teachers and optimize the structure of teachers.
