The implementation of the new curriculum reform puts forward the construction and cultivation of the core accomplishment of the history discipline,that is,the correct value concept,thinking quality and key ability must be possessed in the history learning process.Because of its intuitiveness and particularity,historical map plays an irreplaceable role in the formation of students' core accomplishment in history discipline.The use of historical map in teaching and proper practice is an important way to cultivate students' core accomplishment in history discipline.This paper consists of introduction,four chapters and conclusion.In the introduction,the author puts forward the reasons for the topic selection,sorts out the research status of core accomplishment and historical map teaching,and introduces the framework and research methods of the paper.The first chapter mainly describes the concept definition and classification of historical map,the teaching of historical map and the theoretical connection between it and core accomplishment.The second chapter,based on the cultivation requirements of the core accomplishment of the history discipline,deeply understands the current situation of the teaching of historical map in the history class of high school through the form of questionnaire survey,and analyzes the existing problems in the teaching of historical map.The third chapter,based on the research and combined with the specific teaching cases,discusses the strategies of using the historical map based on the implementation of the core quality as the starting point and the foothold.Firstly,it is necessary to establish the correct educational concept,carefully study the class standard,stick to the morality and cultivate people,and at the same time,pay attention to the main body of students and arrange exercises appropriately.In the specific treatment of the historical map to be flexible,through the construction of graphic correlation,extraction of effective information,the creation of problem situation,the implementation of emotional experience to implement the core accomplishment one by one;In addition,we should attach importance to the guidance of teachers,to teach deeply,to teach to understand,to teach to live,to teach to map.The fourth chapter combines its own teaching practice,takes the 17 th lesson of the first volume of the unified edition of the outline of Chinese and foreign history as an example,demonstrates the practical cases of teaching,learning and practicing by using historical maps,analyzes its effectiveness and shortcomings,and conducts teaching reflection,so as to better play the important value of historical maps in cultivating core accomplishment.
