The physics experiment plays an extremely important role in the history of physics development as well as the physics study in the secondary school education.However,most physics teachers do not pay enough attentions to physics experiments for several reasons in the secondary school of the Xiamen rural area.The main reasons are as following: the complex social environment,the special family education situation,students' unique charactors,the difficulties in school management,and relatively poor experiment condition,which led to the weak physics experiment capability.In terms of the situation of rural areas in Xiamen,it is of great significance and urgency to research present situation and cultivation countermeasures of physical experiment.This paper firstly designed questionnaires based on the actual situation and invited teachers with strong teaching ability in xiamen to revise the final version of questionnaires.Those student questionnaires and the teacher questionnaires were carried out in several rural secondary schools in tongan district and xiang 'an district of Xiamen,where the data obtained from the survey were processed and analyzed with EXCEL.Secondly,this paper interviewed some physics teachers and physics researchers in tongan district and xiang 'an district.Based on above the questionnaires and interviews,this paper concluded the following reasons for the deficiency of experimental ability of secondary school in the rural area of xiamen:(1)the teaching conditions of physical experiments such as experimental equipment are insufficient,and the experimental course can not be set up due to the conditions;(2)the physics teachers do not pay enough attention to experimental courses.In order to ensure the teaching progress,they seldom organize experimental courses.(3)the virtual experiments took place of the real demonstration experiments and the single demonstration experiments took place of the group experiments.(4)the experimental examination is a mere formality,which cannot really stimulate the interest of the teachers and students and raise their attention.In this paper,we propsed the following strategies based on the problems:(1)Emphasize to the importance of the laboratory construction,including offering sufficientprofessional staff and experimental equipments.Besides,establish maintenance and replacement system of laboratory equipment,etc.;(2)Establish an effective supervision and assessment mechanism to ensure that physical experiments are carried out effectively and practically;(3)Carry out in-class and out-of-class physics societies and increase the time of physics experiments.Use the daily necessities to carry out simple and interesting physical experiments,to stimulate students' interest and skill,which will make physicis study processed in our daily life.(4)explore the physical experiment inspection system for the final year students in secondary school,to promote the experimental teaching quality through examinations.
