Since General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed the “Belt and Road” initiative in2013,the number of international students coming to China has been increasing day by day.As of 2018,China has become Asia's largest destination of international student movement in advance,and international students coming to China are increasingly becoming an indispensable part of my country's higher education and an important part of national public diplomacy and cultural exchanges.In the new era,perfecting the ideological education of foreign students in China bears a unique historical mission,helps to train ideal and responsible international students,guides young international students from all countries to view the world with appreciation,mutual learning,and shared views,and promotes the exchange of different civilizations Mutual learning,harmonious coexistence,consolidate the foundation of the public opinion of the "Belt and Road" and contribute to the construction of a community of shared future for mankind.Huaqiao University is one of the universities with the most overseas students in the country,among which a considerable proportion of foreign students.This article takes the overseas students of Huaqiao University as the research object,uses their ideological texts to study in China as research materials,and uses content analysis to explain the current status of ideology of foreign students coming to China from three aspects: Why do international students choose to study in China,that is,"study" "Initial Heart";the "life ideal" of foreign students coming to China;the attitude of foreign students coming to China on the "Belt and Road" initiative.Through text analysis,we find that the mentality of international students coming to China is generally good,and there are also some problems,such as the relative lack of social responsibility,the one-sided and biased perception of China,professional literacy and human literacy.The imbalance and multiple values ??exist in the dilemma of choice,and the reasons behind these ideological problems are analyzed from three aspects: social environment,university subjects and foreign students themselves.Based on this conclusion,this article is guided by the country's guiding ideological education work for foreign students in China,with the deep implementation of the “Belt and Road” initiative and the construction of a community of human destiny as the background of the times,combined with the special campus conditions of Huaqiao University,it is considered to improve The effectiveness of the work of foreign students in China must implement the value advocacy of the “Belt and Road” initiative,guide foreign students in China to understand Chinese wisdom and experience,enhance the coordination of multiple subjects of ideological education,and expand the channels of ideological education.With the help of these targeted ideological and educational countermeasures,to correct the problems existing in the ideological status of foreign students in China,improve the comprehensive quality of foreign students in China,guide foreign students to achieve comprehensive and free development,and cultivate a group of international students who are "intelligent,friendly and pro-Chinese".
