Research On The Cultivation Of College Students' Public Spirit In The New Era

In the new era,as the communication among people more frequent than ever,the field of public life is expanding at an unprecedented speed.The public nature in modern public life has been gradually recognized and valued,and public spirit has thus become a value that people pursue.Study on the cultivation of college students' public spirit represents an essential methodology in shaping the ideology and civilization for our future society,and it is also a way of great significance to promote self-awareness for college students and leading to greater personal achievements in their public life.The connotation of the public spirit is determined in light of the meaning of individual development in the new era and the content of ideological and political education.The concrete contents of the public spirit of university students in the new era are defined in line with the latest researches and the special characteristics of China society in the new era,which mainly features: "Public Person" consciousness,positive attitude of public care,strong sense of public responsibility,rational quality of public expression and "altruistic" behavior of public participation.The overall public spirit of the new era college students is positive,and many college students volunteers are one of good examples.However,through the analysis of questionnaire and relevant data,it is found that there are still many deficiencies in the concept and behavior of college students,and their awareness of rights and duties is not equal,most of them are the contradictory combination of belief and utility,but the transformation efficiency of the nobler sense of public responsibility is poor,the rational willpower is relatively weak,and the public rational accomplishment needs to be strengthened There are more common knowledge and behavior deviation,online and offline network participation behavior inconsistent phenomenon.In combination with the cultivation of college students' public spirit,it is found that there are some problems such as weak internalization identity and unsatisfactory externalization practice.Analyzing from macro and micro perspectives,and from that of the origin and the present situation of the public spirit,it is concluded that the main factors leading to above issues are mainly caused by individual character difference,negative family influence,negative factors in traditional culture,and the negative impact by social media,the malfunction of systematic channels promoting public spirit,and the inefficiency of ideological and political education etc.This paper tries to explore a new way of molding the public spirit of college students in the new era which is based on the practical experience of spiritual cultivation and the demand of public value in our country during the construction of modernization of society.College students are guided to pay attention to physical exercises and self-education,improving "self-control" ability as a means to develop positive living habits and improve "immunity" to resist unhealthy social trends.We should attach importance to the concept of "humanity" in family education,such as proper gratitude and frustration education,building a democratic family atmosphere,and promoting their sense of innovation and independence.The education of college students' public spirit should be improved on the basis of ideological and political education in colleges and universities campuses,and the campuses should serve as the carrier of ideological and political education.The campus cyber community should serve as the "running-in incubator" of ideological and political education and public spirit,and improve the application ability of college students' participation in public affairs.Create incentive evaluation mechanism,complement and improve the Evaluation System;improve public laws and regulations,pay attention to "humanized" law enforcement;strengthen the purification function of network media,perfect network laws and ethical norms and set up the life faith of the public spirit of college students in the new era.
