With the continuous advancement of the new curriculum reform,the whole book reading teaching has been officially included in the content of Chinese curriculum.The whole book reading teaching is different from fragment reading teaching,with both horizontal extension and vertical depth,aiming at cultivating students' reading literacy.Thinking is the core of reading,and students' reading ability is the external embodiment of students' reading thinking.Only by improving students' reading thinking can students' reading ability be improved.How to develop students' reading thinking when teaching the whole book? The thinking visualization tool can optimize the input and output of information in graphical form and network structure,stimulate the brain thinking through keywords,fully mobilize the left brain abstract thinking and the right brain image thinking,to a certain extent,should be able to promote the whole book reading teaching.Therefore,this article discusses the visual tools of thinking the whole book reading teaching in elementary school,the application of constructed under the visual thinking of the whole book reading teaching mode,teaching experiment,investigation analysis of the teaching mode of primary school grade three students to read the quality,as well as the influence on student's study effect and adaptability,verify its application effect.In order to provide a reference for the whole book reading teaching theory system and whole book reading teaching activities.This paper used the literature research method,quasi-experimental approach,questionnaire survey method and interview method.The first,through the literature research method of thinking visualization and whole book reading teaching related literature atlas analysis,clear research status at home and abroad.Secondly,based on schema theory,brain science theory,constructivism theory and learning activity theory,and combined with predecessors' teaching application of thinking visualization tools,this study discusses and constructs the teaching model of reading the whole book in primary school under the thinking visualization.Then,the experimental research method is used to select the class of experimental subjects and carry out the teaching experiment.The reading interest questionnaire and reading test are used to verify the application effect of the whole book reading teaching in primary schools based on thinking visualization,including reading interest,reading ability and reading achievement.Finally,interview method is used to understand the adaptability and application of mind map of the experimental class.The results show that the application of thinking visualization tools in the whole book reading teaching in primary schools can give students more opportunities to study independently,think and communicate,and optimize their thinking structure.At the same time,in the reading activities,the use of mind map can stimulate students' interest in reading,conducive to the improvement of reading teaching effect.Finally,the teaching based on thinking visualization tools can also promote the development of students' reading ability and improve their reading performance.
