Modern prose has always been the focus of Chinese reading teaching.Improving prose reading teaching,cultivating students' independent reading ability of prose and improving the efficiency of prose learning have been closely concerned by education researchers in China.In combination with the compulsory education Chinese curriculum standard(2011 Edition)and junior middle school Chinese teaching materials,we explore ways to improve modern prose teaching,so as to overcome the problem of prose reading It is of great significance to improve students' independent reading ability.Mind mapping makes full use of left and right brain function,memory,reading and thinking rules,through the theme of key words and images,color to establish a memory connection,stimulate divergent thinking ability,open the infinite potential of the human brain.This paper takes the application of mind map in the modern prose teaching of junior middle school Chinese teaching materials as the research object.In the process of research,literature reference method and interview method are used to carry out the research of the paper step by step from shallow to deep.The paper is divided into six parts.The introduction part introduces the purpose and significance of the topic,research methods,and the research results of mind mapping in subject teaching.The first chapter combs the interpretation of the objectives of modern prose reading teaching and the current situation of teaching.Based on the general objectives of prose teaching of the new curriculum standard and the objectives of the fourth learning section,teaching evaluation and teaching suggestions,we can understand the requirements of the current new curriculum standard for prose teaching.Based on the original situation of modern Chinese teaching,we can summarize the current situation and research direction of modern prose teaching in junior high school.The second chapter introduces the connotation of mind map,and expounds the relationship between mind map and learning efficiency through the characteristics of mind map,image and text,association function,whole brain thinking,etc.The third chapter studies the feasibility of the application of mind map in modern prose teaching in junior high school,mainly from the perspective of theoretical feasibility,curriculum feasibility and textbook feasibility.The fourth chapterstudies the application design of mind map in modern prose teaching,mainly deleting the application design of mind map in prose teaching,the application design in prose learning,the problems that should be paid attention to in application,the specific process of mind map application,and fully discusses the specific application mode of mind map in Chinese Prose Teaching in junior high school.The fifth chapter from the junior high school Chinese modern prose case "back","poplar praise","prose two","Kunming rain",reveals the specific application of mind map in modern prose teaching.
