Oral History Applied To High School History Teaching Research

With the continuous advancement of the history basic education reform and the proposition of core literacy of history in China,history teachers face a series of challenges,such as the need to innovate teaching methods,enhance student interest,and cultivate student abilities.In recent years,oral history has entered the history class in high schools.Some teachers have used oral history as an innovative teaching tool,bringing past stories into the history class,so that each student is his own historian.In the high school teaching process,most oral history projects can be organized to provide students with meaningful learning experience while contributing to oral history projects.This article is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction: it mainly explains the background of topic selection,summarizes the current status of research at home and abroad,demonstrates the significance of this study,and explains related concepts and research theoretical basis.The second part discusses the value of oral history teaching in high school history teaching.Oral history teaching in high school has four aspects of value: understanding the history around them and enriching curriculum resources;increasing students 'interest in history learning and enriching student experiences;deepening students' core literacy and developing key abilities;developing social skills and reconciling interpersonal relationships.The third part is the investigation and analysis of the application of oral history teaching in high school,taking the Taiyuan No.62 middle school as an example.Through the survey,this study generally knows the situation of high school students' understanding of oral history and the use of oral history in high school history classroom teaching,and students' opinions and suggestions on the use of oral history were collected.Oral historystill has difficulties and challenges in actual history teaching,but it does not deny the value of oral history teaching on the cultivation of core literacy of students in history.At present,the application of oral history teaching in high school is relatively low.Students recognize the value of oral history teaching to the cultivation of core literacy of history disciplines,and are willing to participate in inquiry teaching activities of oral history.The fourth part is oral history teaching practice cases.This study has tried both types of oral history teaching.The first type of oral history teaching case is the use of oral historical materials during class.Taking the Anti-Japanese War as an example,the oral history materials of the anti-Japanese war veterans are selected to show the national conditions of the flames of the Japanese War.The second type of oral history teaching case is oral history practice activities.Students conduct oral history interviews in groups,specifically including two oral history collection and reorganization activities on the theme of social life changes since the reform and opening up and the influence of patriarchal concepts.The fifth part combined with practical cases summarizes the problems that should be paid attention to in oral history teaching in high school,and puts forward some suggestions.The sixth part is the conclusion and discussion of this article.Oral history has rich value in high school history teaching,but the application of oral history teaching also has certain limitations,such as the reliability of oral history materials,time and energy limitation for high school students.
