The activity area is a kind of independent learning activity widely carried out by kindergartens.It is not only an important organization form of kindergarten education activities,but also a main form of kindergarten game activities.Material delivery is an important part of the activity area and plays an important role in children's learning and development.However,there are long-term limitations of "teacher center" or "preset" in the activity area,ignoring children's learning autonomy.Therefore,this study takes the construction area that children are most familiar with as the key research area,and takes the children of large,middle and small classes in a private kindergarten in Changsha as the study participants.Based on children's perspective,three techniques of mosaic method(children's talks,painting method,and shooting method)were used to investigate the way in which children's construction materials were put into play in the minds of children.At the same time,the "bottom-up" path analysis data is used to summarize the main influencing factors and basic characteristics of the gamematerials in the construction zone from the perspective of children,and to summarize the children's preferred material delivery methods.Research indicates:1.In the construction area,children's choice of play materials is mainly affected by the structure and operability of the materials.2.From the perspective of children,the basic characteristics of constructing game materials are diversity,operability,fun,situation,and suitability.3.In terms of the material delivery method in the construction area,young children prefer low-structure and fusion delivery methods.Based on this,the study proposes the following suggestions:in the construction area,teachers should pay attention to the effectiveness of the material delivery;provide children with rich and varied game materials and open play spaces;strengthen communication with children,enhance children's subjectivity;respect Individual differences of children,comprehensively consider the way of putting materials,to meet the different needs of children.Paying attention to children's perspective is not a denial of the teacher's perspective,but a basic respect for childrenand an in-depth understanding of children's interests and needs.This is also the basic demand of education.At the same time,the focused children's perspective helps to further strengthen the construction area as a place for children to learn independently,it helps to further understand the nature of the construction area,and further highlights the value of the activity area in the development of children.
