The advent of the Internet has provided unprecedented opportunities for the education field in a subversive way,but it has also brought great challenges.In this new era,the education and training industry of China is developing rapidly,however,at present,most of China's education and training industries are small and medium-sized enterprises,while most of China's small and medium-sized private enterprises are in the initial stage or growth stage,and performance management is relatively backward.Therefore,in the current new economic era,it is necessary to explore performance management modes suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises,so as to promote the long-term development of China's small and medium-sized private education and training institutions.In this new era,traditional performance appraisal,strict military management and regimental construction mode are no longer suitable to small and medium-sized education and training enterprises dominated by employees who birthed after 1990.In the era of artificial intelligence,all standardized,quantifiable and assessable parts can be replaced by intelligent machines in the future.The only thing that cannot be replaced is human creativity.Therefore,a performance management mode with "empowerment" as the core need to be established,OKR performance management system is such a performance management system oriented by objectives and results to stimulate employees' self-driving force to achieve the objectives.Taking S Company as an example,this paper analyzed the current performance management system of S Company through questionnaire survey,personnel interview,field investigation and other research methods,summarized the existing problems according to its current situation,and then through the analysis of the causes of these problems,summarized a set of all-round optimization and improvement ideas,proposed to replace the current KPI performance management system with OKR target and key results performance management system,and also put forward optimization and improvement suggestions in three aspects:incentive measures,group building mode and cultural construction.After a period of trial operation,the new performance management system had significantly improved the performance of S company,thus obtaining the conclusion that OKR target and key results performance management system could better realize the overall performance improvement of S company,was also more suitable for the development of S company,and could replace the current KPI performance management system.
