The study travel refers to an innovative form in which the education department and school systematically arranges students to leave the school,embrace nature and walk into society according to the characteristics of physical and mental development of the students and actual teaching needs.This is essential for improving students' overall quality and ability.In 2016,the Ministry of Education and other 11 departments promulgated the "Opinions on Promoting Research Travel in Primary and Secondary Schools",which officially incorporated research travel into the teaching plan of primary and secondary schools,and made research travel widely concerned by all sectors of society.The study travel uses travel as a carrier to allow students to learn knowledge and sublimate emotions in real situations.The multi-dimensional interaction value of the study travel has made a great contribution to enriching the modern primary and secondary education forms in China.The study travel in Britain and Japan has gone through a long process from germination to maturity,and has created a variety of activities in the process of continuous exploration and practice.Therefore,this paper selects the development practice of study travel in Britain and Japan as the research object,and conducts an in-depth study on the development history,organizational form and guarantee mechanism of study travel in Britain and Japan by means of literature research,historical research and comparative research.The study found that the two countries have a long history of study travel,with the development of the times,the organizational form has been gradually improved.In this process,the study travel of the two countries have created a wealth of practical experience and formed a clear goal and content,a sound implementation plan and a system of sustainable development.Although some achievements have been made in the development of study travel in China so far,there are still some problems in the process of organization and implementation,such as unclear goal,imperfect faculty,single organizational form,imperfect guarantee mechanism and evaluation mechanism,etc.Finally,in view of the enlightenment of the study travel experience in Britain and Japan,in view of the problems existing in the development process of study travel in China's Primary and secondary schools,a solution strategy is proposed from the three links of pre-study travel activity design,implementation of the study travel activity,and post-study travel activity evaluation.With a view to providing useful suggestions for the practice process of study in primary and secondary schools in China.
