The main knowledge of physical geography in senior high school focuses on the application of principles and laws,but the principle of geographical knowledge is not an isolated theoretical content.It is more paid to the creation of geographical situations closely related to learning,life and discipline development,and with the help of basic aesthetic ability,value judgment,reading analysis,spatial thinking and innovation ability,analyze and solve practical application problems.The traditional teaching pays too much attention to the teaching of knowledge,and the classroom focuses on learning the abstract knowledge which has been simplified by the teachers.The theoretical knowledge and the actual situation are separated,separated and disconnected.It is difficult for students to connect the theoretical knowledge of natural geography with their own life and learning situation.Physical geography teaching is not only the presentation of knowledge,but also the transformation of students' emotional experience,emotional sublimation and thinking,so as to achieve the change of outlook on life and values.PBL is first applied to the education of medical subjects,which brings good teaching effect.It is gradually popularized and applied in other subjects,and has achieved good effect.It is generally believed that PBL process generally includes raising questions,determining overall goals,resolving problem goals,solving sub problem goals,and displaying results.In this process,teachers help students find problems,analyze problems,and solve problems,which is more in line with contemporary educational concepts and trends.On the basis of humanism theory,constructivism learning theory,metacognition learning theory and in-depth learning theory,this paper adopts literature research,questionnaire statistical analysis,interview,experience summary and education experiment methods,and arranges the existing research results by reading the relevant research on PBL teaching mode,referring to the learning achievements ofother scholars on Senior high school students,Based on the questionnaire and the outline of teacher interview,we designed the questionnaire,teacher interview record and student interview record.In order to understand their current situation of learning natural geography.A total of 320 student questionnaires were distributed to grade one and grade three students of Yuhua high school in Xuchang City.It is 160 in grade one and 160 in grade three.Some teachers were interviewed one-on-one to understand their current situation and shortcomings in the application of PBL model in physical geography teaching classroom.Finally,60 students were interviewed to understand the impact of PBL implementation on students' learning.Through the questionnaire survey,the research found that(1)Students' fear of difficult knowledge points is reduced.(2)Preview habits did not show a trend of increasing with grade.(3)The way and channel to find geographical data are relatively single.(4)Students' personality differences affect the atmosphere and effect of classroom discussion.(5)The awareness of finding and solving problems needs to be improved.(6)Students have a strong sense of recognition for encouraging evaluation.(7)Comparison with humanities and regional geography,PBL teaching mode needs to be applied in physical geography teaching in senior high school.In teachers' interview,there are common views on the formulation of students' learning objectives,the selection of poor construction problems,the improvement of teaching equipment,the change of teachers' roles and the improvement of teaching evaluation.In students' interview,after a period of PBL teaching,the students' Preview habits,the way of collecting data,the thinking ability of natural geography and the ability of natural geography board map have been greatly improved.In order to give full play to the students' dominant position and promote the application of PBL teaching mode in high school physical geography.This paper analyzes the content of high school physical geography in the people's Education Edition,and gives some examples to analyze the poor structure of the content suitable for PBL teaching.At the same time,from the perspective of students and teachers,five strategies are putforward to ensure the implementation of PBL teaching mode in high school physical geography teaching.Combined with the teaching design theory,the basic process of PBL teaching mode,the characteristics of senior high school students,the curriculum standard of senior high school geography and the current situation of senior high school physical geography teaching,the PBL teaching mode is designed by taking the development of fluvial landform-shaping the surface form by the Yellow River as an example.This paper analyzes the learning changes of PBL teaching mode after its implementation in the high school natural teaching classroom by case study.It found that PBL teaching mode can be accepted by students of different levels in high school physical geography teaching.Compared with the traditional teaching mode,it has changed a lot.Students are easy to accept and participate in.The decrease of fear of physical geography.It is helpful to cultivate students' divergent thinking and stimulate their enthusiasm for inquiry.
