The face of widespread student test anxiety problems,this study aims to explore effective methods of social work interventions when sloving student test anxiety problems,and verify its effectiveness.This study used quasi-experimental research design,selected Q city H junior high school as the intervention field,and through the pre-screening,selected 14 Sarason Test Anxiety Scale(TAS)to measure scores of 12-20 points,that is,junior high school students in the middle test anxiety state.The control group(n=7)and the intervention group(n=7)were entered separately,and the test anxiety level of the control group and the intervention group did not differ significantly before the intervention.The study conducted a three-month student self-evaluation promotion group intervention program(five times,Friday afternoon)in the intervention group,during which the control group was normal in the classroom every Friday afternoon.The study collected data by means of measurement methods,interviews and participatory observations.The independent test sample nonparametric test and paired sample nonparametric test were used to analyze the test anxiety level of the control group and the intervention group before and after the intervention.The results showed that:Firstly,there was no significant difference in the TAS scale between the control group and the intervention group before the intervention.Secondly,after the group intervention,there was a significant difference in the TAS scale between the control group and the intervention group,and the TAS scale of the control group was 5.5 points higher than the intervention group.Thirdly,there was no significant difference in the scores of the control group before and after the intervention.Fourthly,there was a significant difference in the scores of the intervention group before and after the intervention,the mean value of the post-test was 4.8571 points lower than the previous average.In addition,by analyzing the group activity records and interview data,it can be found that in the intervention group,firstly,the words used for self-evaluation gradually change from negative words to positive ones,secondly,the description of the exam changed from negative to positive.The study have shown that social workers conduct student self-evaluation promotion groups in the school field,which helps to reduce the level of test anxiety of students.
