Senior High School Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)has been officially promulgated in 2018.Mathematical operation ability is an important part of the six key competencies proposed in the new curriculum standard.Then,what's the status of mathematical operation ability of high school students under the new curriculum standard?Is it reasonable and feasible to divide the level of mathematical operation ability?What are the opinions or suggestions of teachers on the description and characterization of mathematical operation ability in the new curriculum standard?All of them are worthy of our study.This research adopts a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods,mainly including literature research,questionnaire survey and interview.Based on the new curriculum standard,this research conducted a questionnaire survey and test on the students of Suzhou High School of Jiangsu Province,and conducted an in-depth interview with Mr.Wang,and semi-structured interviews with Mr.Shen and other math teachers.The purpose of this study is to take Suzhou High School of Jiangsu Province as an example to understand the status of senior high school students' mathematical operation ability,to carry out practice test on the cases in the new curriculum standard,and to provide suggestions or references for the improvement and use of the new curriculum standard.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)the current situation of senior high school students' mathematical operation ability under the new curriculum standard is not optimistic,which exposes many problems in operation;(2)the rationality and feasibility of the new curriculum standard on the division of mathematical operation ability level is good,which can better reflect the actual operation level of students;(3)the teachers doubt whether the division of mathematical operation ability level can be quantified in daily teaching,and hope that the evaluation method of each level in the case interpretation of the new curriculum standard can be improved.According to the research results,this paper proposes six teaching strategies aimed at improving the mathematical operation ability of senior high school students.
