| According to the"General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards"(2017 edition),the guiding ideology of"evidence reasoning and model cognition",one of the core literacy of chemistry,is to establish a cognitive model and use the model to explain some chemical phenomena,and reveal the law and essence of the phenomenon.[1]How to understand models,model construction and model cognition?What roles do they play in chemistry class?How do teachers use model construction teaching method to teach in class?What are the advantages of model construction teaching?These questions are worthy of deep reflection and exploration by our chemistry teachers.At present,there have been many teaching research results related to chemical models,mainly related to the application of modeling in problem solving,the application of modeling ideas in teaching,the training of model cognitive ability,and the teachers'understanding and application of models.There are still many aspects of research on actual teaching cases that are not involved.The author chooses"Practical Research on the Teaching of Model Construction in High School"as the research topic,mainly focusing on the part of the content of"Material Structure and Nature"(Jiangsu Education Edition)for model construction teaching.The thesis consists of the following four parts:The first part mainly elaborates the development of model construction teaching and related theoretical research.The theoretical part includes the interpretation of"model cognition"in literacy,from which the author gets four dimensions of model cognition:understanding,applying,analyzing,and constructing models.The author expounds the concepts related to model,chemical model,and model cognition,using Constructivist learning theory,learning by doing,and intuitive teaching of knowledge as the theoretical foundations.The second part is divided into two modules:matching analysis of model type and teaching content,and case study.Types of chemical models include mathematical models,regular models,structural schema models,etc.In the case study,physical model,mathematical model and structural schema model are used comprehensively to show the class examples.The physical model construction focuses on the cultivation of students'hand-hand ability and three-dimensional imagination ability in the teaching process.The digital model focuses on the cultivation of students'comprehensive use of chemical knowledge and mathematical knowledge.The structural schematic model trains students'ability to face complex situations and to adapt and summarize.In the process of teaching the construction of structural schema models,the essential"three steps"of modeling are proposed.The third part analyzes the teaching effect based on three different model construction teaching implementation cases.Among them,the structural drawing model construction teaching effect is analyzed in the form of score statistics and analysis,and the corresponding teaching experience is summarized:(1)The teaching achievements of model construction teaching are better than traditional teaching achievements,and should be vigorously promoted in high school chemistry teaching.(2)After using the modeled teaching model,students in Class A(experimental class)has more interest in learning chemistry than class B(control class).Its classroom is more vivid and interesting,and it is more recognized by teachers and students.(3)In the case of the same"teaching volume"and"learning volume",the chemistry scores of the students in Class A(experimental class)has improved significantly compared to the Class B(control class).The fourth part is to draw conclusions and prospects after reflection,interviews,surveys and analysis after class:model construction teaching can increase students'interest in learning chemistry;model construction teaching can effectively improve students'chemistry learning achievements.Due to the author's limited research scope and object,there are still deficiencies.The research prospect of model construction teaching in chemistry teaching is worthy of further study by researchers.In modern teaching,teachers,as planners,leaders,and organizers of the classroom,should develop the habit of continuous learning,strive for excellence,and strive for better results in teaching.In classroom,students should be guided to think independently,study actively,to explore,to apply,and to collaborate,in order to arouse students'strong interest in learning chemistry and guide students to apply chemistry learning results to social practice.For this reason,chemistry educators should strengthen the research on the teaching of model construction.The conclusion of this study can provide reference and application examples for high school chemistry teaching. |
