With the promulgation of the General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2017 edition),it provides a theoretical basis for a new round of curriculum reform.How to cultivate students’ core literacy has attracted a lot of attention from experts,scholars and middle school teachers.Chemistry experiment is an important part of chemistry teaching,which not only provides strong support for students to learn the properties of substances,the principle of chemical reaction and other relevant theoretical knowledge,but also provides a practical platform for teachers to carry out classroom teaching under the background of cultivated student’s literacy.However,there is still a worrying teaching situation in chemistry experiment class,which leads to the failure of chemistry experiment to play its unique educational function.POE strategy is a student-centered teaching strategy that can train students’ scientific thinking and improve their inquiry ability.In addition,existing studies also believe that it has a positive impact on the cultivation of students’ core literacy.Therefore,this study subject core literacy,chemical experiment teaching and the integration of POE strategy as the breakthrough point,to construct the core literacy is suitable for the chemical experiment teaching of POE strategy under the guide of improved model,and carry out empirical study to test the feasibility and validity of the model of teaching,so as to bring new ideas and new directions to the experimental teaching reform of high school chemistry classrooms,it is of great significance to the smooth development of chemistry teachers’ teaching work and the cultivation of students’ core literacy in disciplines.First of all,literature research method was used to read and organize relevant literature,and relevant concepts such as "discipline core literacy","chemistry experiment teaching" and "POE teaching strategy" were defined.Humanistic learning theory,observation infiltration theory,constructivism theory and concept transformation theory were used as the theoretical guidance of this study.Then questionnaire survey was used to investigate the current situation of chemistry experiment teaching in a middle school in Fangchenggang city and the data were sorted out to analyze the existing problems and give corresponding suggestions.Finally,combined with the educational teaching analysis of experimental teaching and the application theory analysis of POE strategy,the case design and teaching practice of "the reaction of sodium and water" based on POE strategy were carried out.On the basis of investigation of the current situation of chemical experiments and teaching practice,POE improved model for chemistry experiment teaching--"POEQ-K-A" spiral progressive learning cycle model was constructed,and the model was briefly described.Secondly,the paper and pencil test method is adopted to select two homogeneous classes in a middle school in Fangchenggang city as the research objects,and the improved POE model constructed in this paper was used to design cases of "nature of chlorine gas" and "atomic structure and elemental properties" and carry out teaching practice for empirical research.Among them,the experimental class adopts POEQ-K-A spiral progressive learning cycle model to conduct experimental teaching in the form of issuing POE Strategy Experimental Activity list,while the control class adopts conventional experimental teaching.At the end of the teaching practice of the whole semester,using scores were collected by paper-and-pencil test and data were collated by SPSS 26.0 and Excel software to compare the difference of the improvement level of the experimental class and the control class in scores,experimental inquiry ability and core literacy.Then through questionnaire survey and interview survey,students’ opinions on POEQ-K-A model and their learning feelings in chemistry experiment teaching were understood.Through processing the relevant data,the following conclusions are drawn :(1)POEQ-K-A spiral progressive learning cycle model is helpful to improve the current situation of chemical experiment teaching;(2)POEQ-K-A spiral learning cycle model has A positive impact on students’ academic performance,experimental inquiry and problem solving ability,and subject core literacy;(3)Students have high recognition of POEQ-K-A spiral progressive learning cycle model and good learning experience.Due to the limitations of my limited theoretical level,insufficient research depth,small practice sample and other factors,the POEQ-K-A spiral progressive learning cycle model for chemical experiment teaching constructed in this study needs to be improved and perfected in future teaching practice,and the research conclusions drawn need to be further tested.
