In the information age,information literacy has become the basic quality of teachers in carrying out information education and teaching activities,and is an important part of teachers' professional development.At present,although teachers' information literacy has been generally improving,there are still some problems such as the lack of information knowledge,the lack of information-based teaching innovation ability,the inability to effectively integrate information technology with education and teaching,and the prominent differences in teachers' information literacy.In order to solve these problems and promote the improvement of teachers' information literacy,most studies consider the optimization of external factors,but pay little attention to teachers' subjectivity.As the main body of improving teachers' information literacy,the self-improving ability of information literacy of teachers is relational directly to the development of their own information literacy,and is the key to improving teachers' information literacy.This study focuses on the teachers themselves and the process of improving the information literacy of teacher.Under the guidance of self-improvement theory,based on the core elements of the information literacy of teachers,this study constructed a framework for the self-improvement ability of information literacy of primary and secondary school teachers,and then constructed an evaluation index system.The index system includes 4 first-level indicators and 18 second-level indicators,the four first-level indicators are information literacy self-improvement awareness,information literacy self-improvement learning,information literacy self-improvement practice and information literacy self-improvement professional development.Based on the index system,an empirical evaluation study was carried out on the self-improvement ability of information literacy of primary and secondary school teachers.The results showed that overall performance was good,but the dimensions are not balanced.The differences among regions,urban and rural areas,educational background and age groups are outstanding.The individual subdimensions are relatively weak.At the same time,this research extracts the factors that influence the self-improvement ability of information literacy of primary and secondary school teachers from the three categories of individual,school and society,and the results show that the core factors are the influence of colleagues,school information leadership,technical support provided by the school,social security mechanism and information activities.On this basis,by analyzing the relationship among the four first-level dimensions,a relational model of the self-improvement ability of information literacy of primary and secondary school teachers is constructed.On the one hand,it vividly presents the spiral structure of the development of the self-improvement ability of information literacy of primary and secondary school teachers,reflecting the relationship between the four one-level dimensions,which are independent and interrelated with each other.On the other hand,it provides practical reference for teachers.Finally,based on the influencing factors and the relationship model,the paper proposes three strategic suggestions for optimizing the self-promotion ability of information literacy of primary and secondary school teachers.The three parties cooperate to promote the balanced development;building a learning community to reduce the differences;aiming at the weak points to promote the teachers to improve their ability to develop in an all-round way.The innovation of this research lies in:focusing on the subjectivity of teachers,constructing the framework for the self-improvement ability of information literacy of primary and secondary school teachers,to make up for the lack of attention to the subjectivity of teachers in the existing studies.To construct the evaluation index system of the self-promotion ability of information literacy of primary and secondary school teachers,focusing on the evaluation of the process.This paper focuses on the spiral interaction among the ability elements,constructs the relationship model of the self-promotion ability of information literacy of primary and secondary school teachers,makes the development process clearer,and has a strong practical significance for the self-promotion ability of information literacy of primary and secondary school teachers.Of course,there are also some deficiencies in this study,such as insufficiently detailed indicators,subjectivity and small empirical scope,which need to be improved in the follow-up study further.
