Face to the sharper competition in the national strength, our country had presented a lot of strategies and took many major steps to speed up the development of education informatization. Above a ll those policies and measures occurring a requirement to put forward the teachers especially the western national regions must have the informatization teaching ability. Informatization of teachers' teaching ability has a vital role in the education infor matization, which decide them if become excellent. The informatization teaching ability also affects the teachers' professional development, can shrink the education gap between urban and rural and can promote the balanced development of the education.Because of the aware of the importance of teachers' information teaching ability in the new era, especially the western national regions, the author decided to research the present situation and development strategy for the middle and primary school teachers' informatization teaching ability in the west Lin Xia area. Firstly, the author made a summary depending on the related research at home and abroad for understanding the current research of primary and secondary school teachers' ability in the information. The summary is from following four aspects: the teachers' information technology teaching ability, teachers' information literacy, teachers' professional development and teachers' training. Secondly, the author compiled the questionnaire and the interview outline according the local facts in Lin Xia area. Then the author took methods of questionnaire and interview to investigate 764 teachers form primary and secondary school in Lin Xia into the status quo of the informatization teaching. Finally, the aut hor used SPSS19.0 to deal the data with variance analysis and puts forward relevant promotion strategy.This research mainly consists of seven parts:The first part, introduction, introduces the research background, research purpose and significance, research contents, research methods, research ideas;The second part, literature review, mainly defines the related concepts, the domestic research status;The third part is the research design and implementation, mainly is to determine the primary and secondary school teachers in information technology teaching ability elements as well as the design and implementation of the questionnaire;The fourth part, the informatization teaching present situation investigation, mainly counts and analyzes the population and ethnic groups in Lin Xia area, the basic situation of the basic education and the statistics and analysis of the questionnaire.The fifth part of the paper is to analyze the influence factors of information technology teaching in Lin Xia, mainly put forward problems and analyze the influence factors. The author discussed of the aspects of teachers, training level, management level and regional level in details.The sixth part is about the promotion-strategies for primary and secondary school teachers' information technology teaching ability. Aiming at the existed problems in the information technology teaching in Lin Xia area, the author raised the corresponding strategies and suggestions.The seventh part is the summary part. That summarizes the research and points out the shortage and prospects for the further study.
