In recent years,many countries put more emphasis on the education informatization.Education focus on the use of educational technology to promote the reform of learning methods,promotion of the integration of information technology and teaching.Teachers are the main force of education and teaching,the information technology application competence of teachers will directly affect their teaching effect.Therefore,it is imperative to improve the teachers' information technology application ability.The project of application of information technology application of national primary and secondary school teachers has been carried actively in China,which has significantly improved the construction of information teaching environment and the application of information technology capabilities.However,some problems are still to be dealt with.In order to survey the application abilities of primary and middle school teachers' on information technology in Huanggang,this study takes Information Technology Standards of Primary and secondary School(for Trial Implementation)published in 2014 as the basis.(hereinafter referred to as the “ability standard”).This study takes the primary and secondary school teachers in Huanggang as research object,and uses the research approach that from finding problems to analyzing problems and then to solving problems.This study mainly uses the methods of questionnaire,interview and other related research methods.First of all,this study analyzes the current situation of teachers' ability of applying information technology in primary and secondary schools in Huanggang from five dimensions,namely,the technical accomplishment,planning and preparation,organization and management,assessment and diagnosis,study and development.The author gets the level of each dimension of every teacher applying information technology.Secondly,the author analyzes the reasons causing these problems,which include lacking understanding of fresh things,limited teaching methods improved by using information technology method,lacking ability dealing with coincidence,lacking management ability on students learning behavior,lacking evaluation ability on using information technology,and less use in information technology resources and lower motivation on self learning.Aiming at these problems,the author's analysis mainly focus on teaching environment,various teaching ability in different regions,teachers' initiative,and teachers' training.At last,the author provides strategies aiming at ability improvement of information technology by studying schools,teachers,training and existing problems and causes of the primary and secondary school teachers on information technology in Huanggang also be combined.The author does hope this study can provide suggestions for reference for primary and secondary school teachers in Huanggang on the aspect of application of information technology.Meanwhile,it also provides reference for training policies made by schools and education authorities.
