On March 18,2019,President Xi hosted a seminar on teachers of the Ideology and Politics in Beijing,stressing that the reformation and innovation of ideological and political course should adhere to the unity of theory and practice,and learn and practice scientific theory in the social classroom.In recent years,the combination of ideological and political courses and social practice is growing,and the Standards for The Ideological and Political Curriculum of Ordinary High Schools(2017)promulgated in 2018 clearly stated that "the activity-oriented curriculum,which is dominated by core literacy,includes both inquiry,cooperation and other activities in the classroom,as well as social practice activities."Social practice activities are based on the background of society and based on subject knowledge,and high school students,under the leadership of teachers,combine the knowledge they learn,their interests and interests with social practice,so as to participate creatively in society,serve the society,and try to play a role in the future society,to recognize and solve social problems.Social practice activities include exhibition,visit,survey interview,volunteer service four basic forms and have five characteristics:targeted,interesting,flexible,selective and space openness.It has profound theoretical and practical significance to carry out social practice activities in high school ideological and political courses,but there are still many problems in the teaching of politics in most high schools:in the teaching subject,the enthusiasm and initiative of teachers and students,as the two main subjects of social practice activities,have not been fully mobilized;in teaching resources,many kinds of available teaching resources have not been effectively integrated;in the teaching process,the main performance of activities is serious formalization and activity effect is difficult to measure.The causes behind the problems are more complex,including the uneven quality of teachers,the constraints of students' ability and the multiple effects of the external environment.Based on the analysis of the problem and its causes,the optimization strategy of social practice activities in high school ideological and political courses consists of three parts.First of all,as the key to carry out social practice activities,teachers should improve their comprehensive quality,not only in teachers should take the initiative to update their ideas,but also to continue to learn new ideas,open up new methods,tap new resources,and lay a good foundation for the development of social practice activities.Secondly,in the process of specific organization and activities,it is necessary to set up programs before the activities,carry out in an orderly manner,and scientific evaluation after the activities.Finally,the state,society,schools and so on should provide strong support for high school ideological and political courses to carry out social practice activities,including policies,systems,material aspects of protection.Only by solving the problems in the social practice activities of high school ideological and political courses from many aspects,and cultivating students' comprehensive practical ability and innovative consciousness in political courses,can we give full play to the function and utility of ideological and political discipline as an activity-oriented subject,and finally realize the fundamental task of moral education.
