In the 18 th Session of National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the "Adhering to moral education and insisting on people-oriented" was first proposed as the fundamental task of education.On March 18,2019,President Xi Jinping presided over the symposium of teachers in the school ideological and political theory class,and emphasized in his important speech: "The ideological and political theory class is the key course to implement the fundamental tasks of adhering to moral education and insisting on people-oriented." In the traditional concept,teachers habitually regard ideological politics as a subject of knowledge,and let students learn knowledge as the focus of ideological and political education.With the development of the times,everyone's understanding of ideological and political has also changed.Everyone pays more attention to the important role of ideological and political education in students' ideological and moral character,behavior habits and comprehensive quality.In order to adapt to the new era requirements,the cultivation of students' political identity,scientific spirit,awareness of the rule of law,and public participation as the core literacy of high school ideological and political disciplines is determined in the Regular High School Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition).In order to strengthen the cultivation of the core literacy of the ideological and political disciplines,the new curriculum standards emphasize the need to strive to construct an activity-based curriculum that combines discipline logic with practical logic,theoretical knowledge and life concerns.The new curriculum standards require that the content of ideological and political subjects be presented in the form of thinking activities and social practice activities,to let the high school ideological and political class have both theoretical support and close to life,to enhance students' perception and experience of knowledge,to let the students use both the brain and the hands during the learning process,to meet the diverse learning needs of students,to strive to develop the ability of students to apply what they have learned,to promote the lifelong development of students,to effectively improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education,to complete the fundamental tasks of adhering to moral education andinsisting on people-oriented education,and to train qualified builders and reliable successors for socialism.Based on the background of the new high school ideological and political curriculum standards,this paper studies the practice of high school ideological and political activities.The full paper consists of four parts: The first part is about the source and significance of the topic,literature review,core concept definition,research methods,research innovations and deficiencies.The second part briefly describes the main problems in the practice of high school ideological and political activity subject curriculum.The third part is the analysis of the reasons that affect the practice of high school ideological and political activities.The fourth part is about ways to strengthen the practice of activity-based subjects in high school ideological and political courses.
