The new round of curriculum standard revision based on subject key competence in China aims to further deepen curriculum reform and realize the transformation of teaching mode to subject key competence.At present,the key competence of geography has become the top-level design concept and guidance direction of the curriculum reform of geography curriculum to the deep level.By means of guiding the design and implementation of geographic learning evaluation,geographic key competence guides the transformation of geographic learning and teaching methods.That is to say,whether the design of geographic learning evaluation is based on the geographic key competence is the key issue of the current curriculum reform.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the evaluation model of the geographic key competence to promote the current reform of geographic curriculum.Based on systematically combing and summarizing the relevant literature,this paper discusses the connotation,characteristics and formation process of the geographic key competence.Through the observation of video in class,it is found that the essence of current geographic learning evaluation is the evaluation of cognitive level,which is based on incomplete situation,detected cognitive ability,and lack of practical process.It is difficult to match with the characteristics of situational,implicit and practical of geographic key competence.In order to break through the evaluation dilemma of geographic key competence,this paper takes the fourth generation evaluation-performance evaluation as the starting point,and demonstrates from the theoretical and practical level that performance evaluation is based on the real problem situation,testing the internal ability of students,taking into account both the process and results,which is suitable for the characteristics and requirements of geographic key competence evaluation.At the same time,"the Geographic Curriculum Standard in the General High School(2017 Edition)" also suggests that teachers should try to use students'performance evaluation in the teaching based on geographic key competence,which shows the necessity and appropriateness of using performance evaluation in geographic key competence evaluation.Based on the previous research,this paper explores the construction of the performance evaluation system that points to the geographic key competence,which includes four aspects:value orientation,evaluation objectives,performance task and scoring rules.The evaluation system is based on the requirements of students'development goals from "Geographic Curriculum Standard in the General High School(2017 Edition)".By drawing on the provisions and design of the British Evaluation and Qualification Alliance(AQA)for performance evaluation in the A-level geography examination,the paper constructs the value orientation,evaluation objectives,performance tasks and scoring rules of the performance evaluation pointing to the geographic key competence.It can be used as reference by geographic teachers to implement performance evaluation.In view of the implementation of the performance evaluation system pointing to the geographic key competence,this paper proposes that teachers should promote the effective participation of students,strengthen safety and ethics education before the evaluation;record the performance process of students and provide necessary support and guidance in the evaluation process;provide the feedback of both subject and object and build the growth files of students after the evaluation.
