Ideological and political course is the key course to carry out the basic task of moral education.In order to play the role of moral education in Ideological and political courses,it is necessary to cultivate students' good learning motivation.As the motivation to stimulate and maintain students' learning behavior,it has an important impact on the effectiveness of the curriculum and students' sustainable learning.However,in the real learning,there are some unreasonable phenomena about the learning motivation of the ideological and political course,which seriously affect the students' enthusiasm for learning and the development of healthy personality.Therefore.it is necessary to carry out a systematic study on the learning motivation of the ideological and political course of liberal arts students,explore more effective strategies to stimulate the learning motivation of liberal arts students,and improve the effectiveness of the ideological and political course to a greater extent.This paper is divided into the following parts:The first part expounds the connotation and function of learning motivation of high school liberal arts students.On the basis of summing up the existing research on the definition of learning motivation,this paper puts forward a more complete definition of learning motivation for senior high school liberal arts students in Ideological and political courses,and makes an in-depth analysis from three aspects:subject,content object and nature.According to the current situation of liberal arts students' learning,it is concluded that learning motivation has the functions of interest stimulation,goal orientation,motivation support and emotion regulation for the learning of liberal arts students' Ideological and political course.The second part,using the method of questionnaire,investigates and analyzes the current situation of learning motivation of liberal arts students' Ideotogical and political course.From the results of investigation and statistics,it is concluded that the learning of Ideological and political course for liberal arts students is mainly based on external motivation,supplemented by internal motivation.There are many factors behind this situation,including the physical and mental condition of students,the quality of teachers,the way of assessment and evaluation,the ideological and political teaching materials and the value orientation in the social environment.The third part is to explore the training strategies of learning motivation of liberal arts students.It includes changing students' cognitive deviation of ideological knitting course,strengthening the construction of Ideological and political teachers,establishing a scientific and reasonable evaluation system,strengthening the reform of Ideological and political teaching materials and creating a good family education environment.
