Under the system of examination-oriented education,the teaching of each class of arts and sciences has obvious utilitarianism,and the rate of higher education and high scores have become the common goals pursued by teachers and students,gradually deviating from the essence and original intention of education.In most schools,liberal arts are generally valued,but biology teaching has not received the attention it deserves,and students lack the patience and interest in biology learning.Biological knowledge will play an important role in the future life and work of students.Considering the cultivation of students 'comprehensive qualities and the needs of lifelong development,it is necessary to increase the students' attention and interest in biology to improve the status of biology teaching in liberal arts classes.In the early stage of the research,I learned the biological interest level of the two liberal arts classes by questionnaire survey,and summarized three factors that affect the biological learning interest of liberal arts students:(1)Social environment: in the context of the college entrance examination,schools and teachers There are deviations in the educational concept,and only attention is paid to the teaching of liberal arts subjects.(2)Students: Poor biological foundation.Biology learning interest and enthusiasm are low,learning attitude is not serious,I think I can pass the exam.(3)Teachers: There is a single teaching method,mainly teaching by teachers,lack of diverse teaching activities,and a dull classroom atmosphere.In view of the above influencing factors,combined with the characteristics of students in liberal arts classes,through collecting and collating data,the following nine teaching strategies have been developed to improve the interest in biological learning of liberal arts students:(1)Infiltrating vocational education;(2)Infiltrating health education;(3)Infiltrating life education;(4)Designing fascinating introductions;(5)Doing experiments and demonstration experiments;(6)Guiding students to make their own teaching aids;(7)Establishing homework mutual assessment mechanism;(8)Establishing good encouragement mechanism;(9)Launching a variety of extracurricular activities.In the course of the research,interest-based teaching was implemented in the experimental class,and regular teaching was performed in the control class.After one semester of teaching practice,the following three conclusions can be drawn:(1)Liberal students have a stronger interest and deeperunderstanding of life science;(2)The transformation from the traditional teaching mode to the core literacy teaching mode has been realized;(3)The relationship between liberal arts students and biology teachers has been further improved.It can be seen that the interest cultivation strategy of this article has certain effect on improving the interest of biological learning in liberal arts students.At the same time,it is hoped that the strategy in this article can provide help and reference for the majority of educators.
