The famous French enlightenment thinker Rousseau said:the problem is not to tell him a truth,but to teach him how to find the truth.It can be seen that in the process of learning knowledge,special attention should be paid to cultivating students' ability to acquire knowledge.The basic concept of high school geography curriculum standards is the same,requiring us to pay attention to the guidance of students' independent learning in teaching,and guide students to cultivate their awareness and ability of independent inquiry through carrying out various research learning.Geography case teaching method has unique advantages in stimulating students' interest in geography learning and their desire to explore independently,so it has been widely used in geography education and teaching,especially in high school regional geography education and teaching,and has achieved some good results.In this paper,first of all,on the basis of literature analysis and summary,systematically the basic content of case teaching and analyzed,analysis of domestic and foreign research present situation and existing problems of case teaching,this paper expounds the connotation and definition of the case teaching,recognize the characteristics and advantages of case teaching,on the basis of comprehensive analysis of the theory basis for the development of case teaching.Secondly,this article through to the region geography case teaching situation questionnaire survey,interviews with relevant teachers to obtain the objective information,understand the status of case teaching in this area and the existing problems and combining the regional practice,in the section "agricultural location factors" for support,targeted for case teaching design and teaching practice,the implementation of the test case teaching strategies in practice,analysis the problems in practice and put forward the corresponding solutions.According to the research in this paper,most students strongly hope for new teaching methods to stimulate their interest in learning.Students have a strong demand for case teaching method,which is conducive to cultivating and improving students'geographic exploration ability,promoting the development of students' geographic thinking ability,and contributing to the implementation of the new curriculum reform.However,teachers' attention to case teaching needs to be strengthened.Many teachers are not fully aware of the characteristics and advantages of geographic case teaching and how to carry out case teaching correctly,which seriously affects the development of case teaching in this region.The implementation strategy of case teaching method can obtain perceptual knowledge by presenting cases.Ask questions and define goals;Case analysis,teacher-student interaction;Summary,the realization of knowledge transfer using such four links to implement.However,the implementation of high school geography case teaching in this region can be improved from the aspects of optimizing teacher resources,perfecting teaching cases and improving teachers' teaching skills.Finally,on the basis of practice,this paper summarizes the shortcomings and problems of the research and puts forward the improvement methods.
