With the popularity of smart phones, the advancement of network communication technology, the rise of QQ,WeChat,Taobao,Vibrato,fast-hand software and live broadcast platforms, mobile phones have penetrated into every corner of people's lives. As a special group among the users of mobile phones, students have received wide attention from the public. The unreasonable use of mobile phones has taken up most of the students' time and even their classroom time, which has caused great troubles for students' learning, physical and mental health,as well as classroom teaching. This situation is particularly serious among the secondary vocational school students.Due to the failure of the senior high school entrance examination, many students who did not successfully enter high school had to choose secondary vocational school to continue their study. Most of them did not have much interest in learning, clear learning objectives,or strong self-management ability, under which circumstance, smart phones have become an entertainment tool for them in leisure time. They spend much time chatting, watching videos, reading novels, and playing games tirelessly, which seriously affects not only their own physical and mental health but also their teachers' classroom teaching.Based on the above analysis, this paper is going to design a group counseling program to improve the time management ability of secondary vocational students and to reduce their mobile phone dependence. With the help of group counseling, students can improve their time management tendency, and thereby reduce their mobile phone dependence. This paper mainly includes two studies. The first study will use the "Mobile Phone Addiction Index" and "Time Management Disposition Scale" to explore the relationship between time management ability and mobile phone dependence of secondary vocational school students as well as the demographic characteristics of the mobile phone dependent population. In the second study, students who are addicted to mobile phone were selected based on the relationship research.24 voluntary students were selected and divided into two groups.12 in each group.A controlled experiment was set up,and a group counseling intervention program was adopted. One group was designed to take the"pre-test and follow-up measurement" experiment, while the other group was not intervened. The 12 subjects in the experimental group received a total of 8 counseling sessions over a period of 2 months, one hour and a half for each time. Before and after the implementation of the program, the participants were subjected to pre-test and post-test respectively.Furthermore, they kept accepting the follow-up tests one month after the end of the experiment. The independent variable was the study treatment, that is,the subjects accepted a total of 8 times of group counseling intervention on mobile phone dependence, one and a half hour for each time. The dependent variable includes the time management propensity level and the mobile phone dependence score. The above two studies show:(1)There is a negative correlation between time management ability and mobile phone dependence of secondary vocational school students;the level of time management tendency has a negative predictive effect on mobile phone dependence of secondary vocational school students.(2)The mobile phone dependence of secondary vocational school students varies greatly in gender, grade and professional demographic variables.(3)Time-based group counseling can improve the time management tendency of secondary vocational school students and reduce their mobile phone dependence. And this effect is still significant in the tracking tests one month later.
