The Standard of Ideological and Political Curriculum for Ordinary High Schools(2017 edition,2020 revision edition)stipulates that ideological and political course is an active subject course focusing on cultivating the core quality of ideological and political subjects,and the teaching topics of this course and the proposed social practice activities are clearly specified in the teaching tips of the four modules of the compulsory high school political course.As a new teaching method,the topic teaching method is a specific teaching method that combines thinking and practice,theory and accomplishment closely.It has rich theoretical basis and practical experience.The application of topic teaching in high school ideological and political course teaching can better cultivate students’ thinking and cooperative exploration ability,lead them to acquire theoretical knowledge in social practice activities,make them form scientific three views,and promote the improvement of their core qualities.Through questionnaire survey,interview and other methods,the research found that the current issue-based teaching method has been more and more widely recognized in high school ideological and political courses,which can stimulate students’ enthusiasm for cooperative exploration and make them more confident in learning.But there are some outstanding problems in the concrete implementation process.It is mainly manifested in the low enthusiasm of students to participate in teaching,the poor ability of teachers to recognize and use issue-based teaching,and the imperfect evaluation system of issue-based teaching.The reason is that teachers lack the ability to set topics,students lack the learning interest and independent exploration ability,and the evaluation index of topics is not reasonable.Based on this,in order to further effectively apply issue-oriented teaching in high school ideological and political courses,the top-level design of issue-oriented teaching should be strengthened,teachers should establish the concept of issue-oriented teaching,highlight students’ subjectivity in issue-oriented teaching,and master the method of issue-oriented teaching.Only in this way can we provide demonstration and guidance for the effective implementation of high school ideological and political lessons,enrich classroom teaching methods,and promote high school ideological and political lessons to more effectively implement the fundamental task of "moral cultivation".
