Group reading is a new type of reading teaching mode,which aims at teaching Chinese reading through group reading.Through the selection of topics and the construction of multiple texts,students are expected to expand their reading capacity while striving to achieve the coordinated development of reading ability,comprehension,thinking ability and expression ability,so as to effectively promote the improvement of students' learning ability and the cultivation of Chinese core literacy.This paper takes the selected novels in the edited Chinese textbooks of high school as the research object,and through the discussion on the topic of "the tragic significance of the little people",tries to make students feel the characters and taste the colorful language,and at the same time realize the real understanding and in-depth interpretation of the novel themes.This topic applies group reading to the teaching practice of "the tragic significance of the little people",because character description and topic exploration occupy an important proportion in high school Chinese teaching materials,and are also involved in a variety of styles,such as poetry,prose and drama,so it runs through the whole teaching of Chinese.The purpose of this paper is to enable students to understand the tragedy of the little people in the current times through the reading mode of group articles,and to take "one person" as the representative of "a group of people",so that students can better understand the main idea of the novel and make clear the purpose of reading.Let students master the important meaning of "expression and appreciation" and "aesthetic appreciation and creation" in the process of reading,so as to avoid the long-standing problem of separating theory from practice in Chinese teaching,so as to truly realize personalized reading and writing.This paper mainly includes the following four aspects:The introduction mainly introduces the origin of topic selection,research object,research status,research significance and research method of high school novel group text reading teaching.The first chapter puts forward the necessity and feasibility of group reading in high school novel reading teaching based on the definition of group reading.The necessity is mainly reflected in the following three aspects: to meet the objective requirements of "Chinese curriculum standards for ordinary senior high schools",to meet the requirements of cultivating Chinese core literacy,and to make up for the existing problems in traditional novel reading teaching;The feasibility is mainly embodied in the following three aspects: conforming to the cognitive development characteristics of high school students,the arrangement characteristics of textbook selection and the need of teachers to transform from experience type to expert type.In chapter two,the author puts forward the implementation path of the novel group reading teaching in senior high school.The first is the teacher's preparation before class.In order to better realize the teaching goal,we should prepare for the class from three aspects,that is,setting the topic,selecting the text and setting the question.Then,based on the actual teaching problems,this paper proposes the implementation strategies of group reading,which can promote the development of students' thinking through independent reading of multiple texts,reach teaching consensus through cooperative exploration,and cultivate students' writing ability through the combination of reading and writing.Finally,the author designs group reading cases according to teaching strategies,and presents teaching methods and case studies of group reading in high school novels to provide high school teachers with more reference cases for group reading.The third chapter takes "the tragic significance of the little people" as an example to make an in-depth study of the teaching process of reading novels in high school,and carries out reflections after class.First of all,from the three perspectives of situation analysis,textbook analysis and teaching analysis,the prudence of group reading topics,text selection and problem design is determined to provide theoretical support for group reading.Then,typical texts are selected from the high school Chinese textbook and extracurricular reference reading list compiled by the department for case design,so as to master the teaching process of group reading and determine the teaching objectives and key points of this class.Finally,the author makes a reflection on teaching and concludes that group reading is easily restricted by objective conditions in the process of implementation,and the teaching design should be based on the whole and strengthen the intertextuality between texts.For the future to carry out group reading experience,avoid mistakes.
