Incorporating the development of scientific thinking in teaching helps to cultivate students' habits and skills in investigation,experimentation,evidence evaluation and reasoning.This study takes junior middle school biology exercise teaching as an example,and focuses on strategies of integrating scientific thinking into junior middle school biology exercise teaching.Based on the literatures,the author first redefined the concepts of scientific thinking and junior high school biology exercises teaching,combined those concepts with subjects' characteristics,and explained the significance of scientific thinking in biology.Next,in an effort to better understand the status of students' scientific thinking and learning,as well as teachers' cultivation of scientific thinking skills,a questionnaire and problem sets were prepared and distributed.Cumulatively,I developed basic strategies of cultivating scientific thinking in junior middle school biology exercise teaching.Finally,the author selected two courses in the subject of "Genetics and Variation of Biology" as examples,conducted practical research in the form of classroom teaching in the exercise class,and evaluated the cultivation of scientific thinking methods in the teaching of biological exercises in junior high schools.From this study,I conclude that,first,teachers' teaching philosophy has a direct impact on students' thinking skills;second,adopting effective strategies to integrate the cultivation of scientific thinking in the teaching of biological exercises is helpful to develop students' scientific thinking.The author also summarized the problems of cultivating scientific thinking in the teaching of biological exercises in junior middle schools: first,the traditional teaching style lacks of teacher-student interaction;secondly,students' scientific reasoning and thinking are undeveloped.In view of the above problems,the author puts forward to cultivate the students' good habit of examining questions,improve thepreciseness of thinking,select examples and dig deep into the scientific thinking methods in examples,do well in solving and practicing one question,cultivate divergent thinking,connect with the hot spots of life and cultivate the ability of explaining biological phenomena;It is suggested that junior middle school teachers should attach importance to the teaching of exercises,select biological exercises,change teaching concepts,improve teaching methods,comment on exercises in time,pay attention to the teaching efficiency of exercises,and improve teachers' professional quality and ability. |
