In high school math,sets are the language and tools for describing a class of things.Set language is the basic language of modern mathematics,which is not only helpful to express mathematical content concisely and accurately,but also can be used to describe and solve many problems in life.Set is the first chapter of freshman's entrance study in senior high school.At this time,the students have just entered senior high school from junior high school and are still in the primary stage from arithmetic(concrete)to algebra(abstract).They have weak abstract thinking ability and have not formed the habit of rigorous logical thinking.However,the learning of set in this chapter has a high degree of abstraction,and the set language has unique symbols and expressions,which is difficult for students to understand.In order to ensure that the investigation and study of the real and effective,this research used the literature analysis method,test method,the methods of questionnaire investigation and interview method,choose baoji some 213 senior high school students and 13 teachers as the research object,research set high student learning difficulties the status quo,analysis of the causes of learning difficulties,and proposes the corresponding collection teaching advice,enable students to learn better knowledge collection,guides the student to achieve a smooth transition of high school mathematics learning,prepare for the high school mathematics learning.According to the analysis of the survey results,the current situation of learning difficulties of senior one students in collective learning is as follows:1 The difficulty of the application of "reciprocity" of set elements in the representation of set and the solution of related problems;It is difficult to translate natural language,graphic language and collection language.2 There are four kinds of learning difficulties in the basic relation learning of sets: difficulty in understanding the meanings between sets containing and equal;Difficulty in identifying a given set subset;The particularity of empty set in set relation is difficult to understand.The application of the idea of categorical discussion in solving set-related problems is difficult.3 There are four kinds of learning difficulties in the learning of basic operations of sets: complements;It is difficult to solve parameter problems in set operation.It is difficult to transform the equivalence between set operation and set relation.According to current situation of the above set high student learning difficulties,undertake to the student questionnaire survey,interview and the part of students and teachers,analyze the causes,the following conclusions: students learning motivationmainly comes from the university entrance exam,useful learning attitude is not very positive,not very determined,competition is stronger,but the collection study lack of critical spirit;Teachers do not pay enough attention to collective teaching;In the textbook,the concept of set is abstract,and there are many sub-concepts and symbols.Suggestions: 1 Strengthen the teaching of collective knowledge;2 Pay attention to the cultivation of students' collective learning ability;3 Pay attention to the cultivation of students' emotional attitude and habit in collective teaching;4 Grasp the teaching contents to promote the development of core accomplishment of mathematics.
