Vocabulary teaching is an indispensable part of English teaching, but also the basis of English learning. But in the actual teaching process, many teachers have found that most of the students remember words by taking the rote of mechanical memory, they rarely use a variety of strategies to help their vocabulary learning. This phenomenon is more common for the students of the seventh grade. Many researchers have done researches in vocabulary learning strategies, confirming that some vocabulary learning strategies can effectively improve English achievement, but the research on vocabulary strategy training for seventh grade students in suburban schools is very scarce. Therefore,I think it is necessary to study the use of vocabulary learning strategies in the seventh grade students of suburban schools, and to train them on appropriate vocabulary strategies, integrate vocabulary strategy training into daily English teaching, and finally explore the impact of the the training on them.In this study, the research objects are the 116 students of the two parallel classes in No.26 Middle School in Xingtai. Both of the two classes have 58 students, a total of 116 students. The experimental class is Class 5, and the control class is Class6. At the beginning of this term, they all went through an English vocabulary examination.First,the researcher investigated and analyzed their vocabulary learning concepts and strategies.After that, the researcher conducted an 18-week vocabulary strategy training on the experimental class. After training, they all went through another English vocabulary examination. Then the researcher investigated and analyzed their vocabulary learning concepts and strategies again.At last,the researcher compared and analyzed the situations before and after the training to explore the impact of vocabulary learning strategy training on their English vocabulary learning concepts, vocabulary learning strategies, vocabulary learning interest and their learning ability so as to help the students of Grade Seven who are with learning difficulties learn to use their own English vocabulary learning strategies to improve their interest and ability of English vocabulary learning.The results show that the vocabulary strategy training for the seventh grade students has had a lot of positive effects on students. The integration of vocabulary learning strategies into daily English teaching can help to improve students' vocabulary learning concepts, enrich students' strategies, improve their awareness and frequency of using vocabulary strategies,and help improve their interest in English vocabulary and their ability of learning English vocabulary. The results of this study provide some enlightenment to our teaching: teachers should integrate vocabulary learning strategy training with practical English teaching. In the vocabulary teaching.teachers should help to play the subjective initiative of students with learning difficulties, to create opportunities for students to learn the use of vocabulary learning strategies, to pay more attention to students' personality traits and offer personal support and to keep on with the vocabulary learning strategy training.It is hoped that this study will enable junior high school English teachers to pay more attention to the training of students 'English vocabulary strategies in the teaching process and promote the improvement of students' autonomous learning ability.
