Research And Application Of Data Analysis System For Graduate Enrollment

With the reform and development of graduate education system in universities,the enrollment scale of graduate in China continues to expand,and the amount of enrollment data continues to increase.The needs for data analysis of graduate enrollment management is increasingly urgent.How to use data mining technology to transform historical graduate enrollment data into valuable information for teaching management is particularly important Therefore,applying data mining technology to the graduate enrollment system and assisting university enrollment is a feasible application and innovation.Based on data mining technology,association rule algorithm and decision tree algorithm,this article puts forward the idea of combining data analysis and data mining technology for graduate students.Based on the original college admissions management system,the data mining technology is integrated to establish the graduate student data model.Secondly,it collects,integrates and preprocesses the basic data of the enrollment of graduate school in a university in recent years.The original data is divided into training set and test set,and the association rules,decision tree and other technologies in data mining are used to analyze these data and find valuable information.Finally,Apriori algorithm is adopted to calculate the support degree and confidence degree of main attributes in the training set data respectively.By setting a threshold value,this article analyzes the main factors that affect freshmen registration and the degree of correlation among them.Correctness is verified by testing the data set.Then,the C4.5 algorithm is selected to calculate the information entropy and information gain rate of the training set data respectively,and the decision tree is established and pruned to get the decision model.The model is validated and improved by using test set data.This article mainly applies data mining technology to the graduate analysis system.The data mining association rules and decision tree method are used to analyze the graduate information,and the ideal and valuable rules and conclusions are obtained.The mining results are basically in line with the rule of university enrollment.Thereby,the application of data mining technology in the graduate enrollment data analysis system of a university is realized,and the traditional process and mode of graduate enrollment are improved,and the efficiency and quality of graduate enrollment management are improved.
