The course "Morality and Rule of Law" is a comprehensive course based on students' life and aiming at guiding and promoting the ideological and mor al development of junior middle school students.This course is to educate stu dents to establish a correct outlook on life,values and world outlook,to form a healthy and upward attitude towards life,and to guide them how to live and ho w to survive.With the advancement of the new curricu lum reform,the life-orien ted classroom teaching of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior middle schools has been paid more and more attention by educators,and has become an imp ortant topic of current education reform.In 20 1 7,the new edition of the textbo ok "Morality and Rule of Law" will be put into use nationwide.Teachers should follow the new curriculum standards and take the new ideas as the guidance.The overall design of the textbook is based on the life experience of junior high school students,and the teaching content pays more attention to the students'real life.It is extremely important to correctly handle the relationship among st udents themselves,others,the collective,the state and society.The new textbook "Morality and Rule of Law" in Mongolian-speaking junio r middle schools puts forward higher requirements for teachers,which must co mbine teaching with students' life,take students as the main body and take st udents' life as the starting point.Based on the new teaching concept,this pape r explores the application of teaching life.Based on the research on teaching li fe at home and abroad,this paper clarifies the connotation of "Morality and Ru le of Law" in Mongolian-taught junior high schools,summarizes the basic char acteristics and theoretical basis,and analyzes the teaching status of "Morality and Rule of Law" in several junior high schools in Tongliao area,combining wi th the experience gained in teaching practice,listening experience,student surv ey and teacher interview.This paper summarizes the problems existing in the c lassroom teaching of "Morality and Rule of Law" in Mongolian-taught junior hi gh schools,analyzes the causes of the problems,and then puts forward corres ponding countermeasures and suggestions.Finally,the teaching of "Morality a nd Rule of Law" in Mongolian-taught junior high schools is conducive to achie ving teaching objectives,stimulating students' learning and improving teachin g efficiency,with a view to making some contributions to enhancing the effecti veness of ethnic education and teaching.
