Extracurricular reading is very important for primary school students,which is no less important than learning in class.It can not only expand the vision of primary school students,but also let students master more comprehensive knowledge and cultivate students' interest in learning.The cultivation of extracurricular reading habits can also have a positive impact on the cultivation of students' learning ability in the future.However,at present,rural primary schools in underdeveloped areas in China do not attach great importance to extracurricular reading,parents lack this awareness,teachers' guidance on extracurricular reading is also one-sided.At the same time,due to various reasons,the utilization rate of the school library is very low,which has not been fully and effectively utilized,and has not really played its role.Schools,parents and teachers do not attach great importance to extracurricular reading,so that the situation of extracurricular reading in rural primary schools is not optimistic,which can be said to be relatively poor.In the process of writing,the Primary School in Songji town is the main research object.It adopts the questionnaire survey method,interview method and other writing techniques,and goes deep into the interior to investigate and analyze the current situation of extracurricular reading.The main research contents include the following four aspects:The first is to introduce the research background and current situation,and construct the writing ideas.The second,through the questionnaire survey and interview,we found that there are problems in rural primary school students' extracurricular reading,such as unreasonable book distribution,low utilization rate of resources such as library and reading room,students basically have no extracurricular reading awareness and interest,teachers' reading guidance for students needs to be further strengthened,parents do not pay attention to children's extracurricular reading,and there is no extracurricular book at home.The third,it analyzes the causes of the problems in the extracurricular reading of primary school students in Songji Town,and points out that school,teachers,family and society have not had a positive and powerful impact on the extracurricular reading of primary school students.The fourth,in combination with the problems in the extracurricular reading of the pupils in Songji town and the causes of the problems,the corresponding countermeasures are formulated.Considering from the school side,it is recommended to provide enough extracurricular reading books,and to carry out self-help funds to help the exam organize reading clubs;Considering from the family perspective,it is recommended that families should strengthen their supportive powers and improve their ability to guide extracurricular reading;Considering from the social aspect,it is recommended that it create a good social atmosphere and organize volunteer students to regularly read and counsel;Considering from the perspective of teachers,it is recommended that teachers should continuously develop students' good reading habits and provide effective guidance for extracurricular reading.
