In recent years,China's higher vocational education has received more and more attention,and its position in higher education has become increasingly prominent.Higher vocational education,as an important part of China's higher education,can send a large number of skilled personnel to the society,and then promote the continuous development of our society and economy.Moreover,with the continuous improvement of the higher vocational education mechanism,its mission has gradually changed from pure education and teaching to comprehensive personnel training,scientific research,scientific and technological services,and social services.And the effectiveness of the existing teacher performance appraisal system is gradually decreasing.Therefore,how to closely integrate the college's strategic vision with the college's teaching,research,and management,and formulate a scientific,reasonable and comprehensive teacher performance evaluation system to improve teachers 'work performance and even the overall performance level of the college is a problem that needs to be solved for teachers' performance evaluation in various vocational colleges.As a scientific performance evaluation method,the balanced scorecard is based on the strategic goals of the organization,and carries out performance evaluation from four dimensions: finance,customers,internal business processes,learning and growth.And this method can achieve the combination of short-term goals and long-term goals,financial indicators and non-financial indicators,and achieve scientific and comprehensive performance evaluation.Firstly,this article introduces the development of higher vocational colleges and the existing teacher performance evaluation system.It also summarizes the relevant literature at home and abroad for the balanced scorecard,college performance assessment,and the use of the balanced scorecard in college performance assessment.Secondly,the related theories and methods involved in the research(performance evaluation theory,balanced scorecard performance evaluation method)are summarized;Thirdly,based on the analysis of the teachers' performance evaluation in GM vocational colleges,the existing problems of performance evaluation are found,and the reasons for the problems are analyzed;Fourthly,analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the introduction of the balanced scorecard.Based on the performanceevaluation status analysis and questionnaire survey,combined with the characteristics and strategic vision of GM School,determine the performance evaluation indicators under the four dimensions of GM Vocational College,and use the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of each indicator;Finally,take teacher A as an example to performance appraisal,and the guarantee measures for the effective application of the balanced scorecard to teachers' performance appraisal,as well as the research conclusions and research prospects of this paper,are provided to provide reference and reference value for other higher vocational colleges to establish and improve the teacher performance appraisal management system.
