Research On Ritual Education In The Perspective Of Ideological And Political Education In Colleges And Universities

The ritual has a long history and profound cultural heritage.According to the information available in the academic community,early rituals are inseparable from religion and mythology.The research results in the fields of anthropology,folklore and sociology are so vast.Gradually,rituals entered the field of education and became a popular educational carrier and form of education,which led to the research and practice of ritual education.The ritual education in the perspective of ideological and political education in colleges and universities refers to a series of ritual behaviors or activities with symbolic and ritual sense,bearing certain ideological concepts,political views and moral norms,which are used by educators to influence the thoughts or behaviors of educatee in the process of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.As an educational carrier,ritual education has been attached great importance in the process of exploring the innovation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Ritual education not only possesses the nature of education,but also “inherits” the symbolic,performance,infectivity and high participation characteristics of the ritual.This makes ritual education stand out from many educational carriers and becomes a “new breakthrough” to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education.However,in the process of educational practice,the function of this “new breakthrough” has not been fully utilized.Based on the perspective of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,this paper starts from four parts,through the exploration and study of ritual education,aims to promote the realization of ritual education function in the perspective of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,so as to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education.The first part is mainly about the understanding of the core concepts.Starting from the concept of ritual and ritual education,the concept of ritual education in the perspective of ideological and political education in colleges and universities is understood.On this basis,the characteristics and types of ritual education in the perspective of ideological and political education in colleges and universities are summarized.This can strengthen the grasp and application of ritual education and promote the realization of its functions.The second part is a tentative exploration of the internal and external basis of the function of ritual education in the perspective of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.First of all,there is an intrinsic fit between ideological and political education and ritual education.It is embodied in four aspects: the same direction of education,the consistency of educational power points,the consistency of educational elements,and the coincidence of educational time.Secondly,there is a solid theoretical basis for the educational function of ritual education in the field of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.It mainly includes Marxist discourse on the nature of human beings,educational theory of educational situation,Collins' “interaction ritual chains” theory and Chinese excellent traditional etiquette education thought.This provides an intrinsic basis for the function of ritual education.Finally,there is a strong external basis for the function of ritual education,which is the practical support of the party and the state,the development of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and the growth needs of individuals.The third part starts from the theoretical exploration and returns to the reality.Starting from the function and reality of ritual education in the perspective of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,it is found that in the process of education practice ritual education faces the blurring of educational aim,the utilitarian purpose of education,and the generalization of education content and the mechanization of education form.On the basis of discovering the problem,a deeper analysis of the cause will be carried out and then provide the basis for putting forward countermeasures.The fourth part is to explore the path to solving the problem of ritual education in the perspective of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.First of all,we must adhere to the principle of people-oriented,seeking truth from facts,and clear priorities.Secondly,it is necessary to establish a sense of thinking in ritual education such as problem consciousness,innovation consciousness,and seizing time.At the same time,it is necessary to coordinate and deal with the special relationship between universality andparticularity,content and form,inheritance and innovation.Finally,the problem solving path is explored from five aspects: thinking concept,system guarantee,process management,evaluation and feedback and educational cooperation.
