| In order to realize the historical leap of China from a large country of higher education to a strong country of higher education,the state has put forward the go al of “double first-class” and shifted the focus of higher education to building worl d-class disciplines and first-class universities.Therefore,the construction of first-clas s disciplines is the foundation of the construction of first-class universities and an i mportant part of the construction of first-class universities.In order to better build a world-class discipline,it is particularly important to establish a performance evalu ation index system for the construction of first-class disciplines that promotes refor m and evaluation.On the one hand,it can perfect the basic theory of first-class di scipline construction,build an index system for first-class discipline construction per formance evaluation,and enrich and deepen the study of higher education;On the other hand,it is conducive to promoting the development of first-class discipline co nstruction in colleges and universities,and thus achieving the connotative developm ent of schools.The performance evaluation of first-class discipline construction refers to the es tablishment of a scientific and reasonable performance evaluation system for each c ontent of first-class discipline construction according to the subject characteristics to be evaluated,and the scientific and comprehensive evaluation of the expected obje ctives,results and effects of first-class discipline construction,as well as the proces s and results of first-class discipline construction.Explains that the construction of t he first-class discipline mainly includes five aspects: personnel training,teaching staf f,scientific research,serving society and cultural heritage and innovation.It is to s elect foreign U.S.News evaluation,THE evaluation and QS evaluation,as well as t he domestic Wuhan University evaluation and Shanghai Jiaotong University evaluati on index system for reference and analysis of existing problems of index analysis.we find that they all follow the principle of combining qualitative and quantitative indicators.The design of indicators is concise and clear.They all contain scientific research,teaching and teachers.But there are also some problems,such as paying t oo much attention to quantitative indicators and the scientific research level of disci plines,and obscuring the classification of disciplines in the index system,which lea d to the objectivity of the evaluation results.Based on analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and questionnaire survey,according to the principles of screening indicators of combination of purpose,generality and particularity,international comparability a nd characteristics,combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis,and combinati on of incentive and assessment,and combination of subject characteristics,The inde x system of performance evaluation of first-class discipline construction includes fiv e first-level indicators of talent training,staff,scientific research,social services,cul tural heritage and innovation,and 20 second-level indicators.The evaluation criteria and weights of indicators at all levels are also formulated.Finally,applying the index system of performance evaluation of first-class disci pline construction to F discipline of Z University,the result shows that the compre hensive performance evaluation score of F discipline of Z University is 76.6475.C ompared with the result of the fourth round of discipline evaluation of F discipline Aˉ(which is in the top 5%-10% of the overall score of the national discipline),there is a gap.Suggestions for improving the first-class discipline construction of Z University are given: deepen the understanding of first-class discipline construction;improve evaluation institutions,provide organizational guarantee;improve talents cu ltivate programs,focus on the cultivation of opened talents;attach importance to tal ent echelons,establish first-class faculty;attach importance to talent echelons,establ ish first-class faculty;help social development,and innovate discipline culture. |
