In China's current economic development and social transformation,concept of education has changed a lot.Affected by the theory of education industry and educational theory,more families have recognized that investment in education is a very important investment in human capital.With the continuous growth of national economy and household income level,the demand for high-quality education is also constantly increasing.Families highly value children education,while the proportion of children's educational consumption expenditure is also increasing year by year.The functional of education in individual development and social development has been fully realized,and the demand for education is increasingly urgent.Therefore,studying of expenditure on family education is an indispensable basic in the study of education in China.This paper mainly digs into the factors that influencing the current situation of rural family education expenditure in the compulsory education stage.Based on existing research results and literatures on rural household education consumption,the researcher primarily conducts an empirical study on Donggang Village,Liushu Town,Yingkou City,and collects data via questionnaires and field interviews,followed by basic collation and cross-analysis to verify the influencing factors on rural household education expenditure in the compulsory education stage.It is found that family income,parentaleducation,parents' attitude towards education expenditure,and the number of children all have an impact on the education expenditure of rural families during the compulsory education stage,while the children's grades and academic performance show no significant effect on expenditure.Inaddition,whether parents are satisfied with relevant education policies affects their attitudes toward education expenditures,which in turn affects family education expenditures.At the end of this paper,the researcher puts forward targeted suggestions for relevant government authorities,schools and rural households.Firstly,government agencies are suggested to increase education funding,promote education equity,and increase funding support for children from poor families.Secondly,schools need to implement innovative teaching models and methods,use Internet technology to enhance individualized teaching.Finally,families should pay attention to parent-child education,take the lead in guiding their own children,and rationally handle children education problems,without blind education expenditures.
