Research On Media Agenda Setting In The Report Of "The Drug Addiction Of Fang And Ke"

In recent years,star drug abuse incidents have frequently occurred,reflecting the grim reality of China's anti-drug work.Among them,the most popular and media-focused and influential ones are the Fang Zuming and Ke Zhendong.Moreover,the star itself has higher news value and public influence than ordinary people.Star negative news reports have already become public issues,so it is very important for the media to report on such news in order to correctly guide public opinion.This study takes the Fang and Ke drug abuse incident as an example,based on the agenda-setting theory,and analyzes and compares the media agenda-settings of People's Net and Sina.com when reporting the incident.Use content analysis and text analysis to analyze the differences between the two media agenda-settings and attribute agenda-settings.Simultaneously,Analyze the impact of media on public attitudes and behaviors during the agenda-setting process,and what factors are affected by the agenda-setting process.Explore the characteristics and differences between the two media in the Fang and Ke drug abuse agenda.The study found that People's Net and Sina.com can comprehensively use various forms of reports and comprehensive themes to present a full range of issue reports to the audience when setting up agendas for Fang and Ke drug abuse reports.People's Net uses multiple layouts of scattered reports,and Sina.com is a centralized report.The reporting genre of People's Net is mostly for communication,while Sina.com is mainly for video news.People's Net does not particularly highlight the role of a person as a protagonist,more is a comprehensive report on the event,and Sina.com will focus more on Ke Zhendong.The theme of People's Net and Sina.com is basically the same,but the theme of People's Net is more evenly distributed.In terms of reporting positions,both of them mainly report facts in a neutral position.Compared with Sina.com,People's Net focuses more on positive guidance from multiple angles.In terms of attribute agenda-setting,the property setting features reported by People's Net are more obvious.As the event develops,certain attributes of the topic are emphasized at different stages,and there is a clear change in attribute-settings.And Sina.com does not have a clear attribute-setting process.In the process of setting the agenda for the “The Drug Addiction of Fang and ke” incident report,the media agenda-setting has a certain degree of influence on the attitude and behavior of the audience,and has a strong correlation with the public agenda.At the same time,the media agenda-setting has also been affected by various factors,including public attitudes,attitudes of parties and relatives,and legal trials.The agenda-setting of Sina.com is greatly influenced by public attitudes,and the influence of the other two aspects on the two media.The degree is similar.
