At the end of 2019,the new crown epidemic broke out,and it is still repeated.The epidemic is related to the life safety of every individual,so the recurrence of a case in a certain place will attract a lot of attention and discussion.Among them,the media,as an observer of the external environment,carry the important responsibility of information dissemination and public opinion guidance.In this paper,"Recurrence of local cases in Nanjing,Jiangsu" is selected as a research case,and according to the agenda setting theory,literature research,case analysis and social network analysis are used to analyze 310765 media reports captured by the crawler system as research samples.The core part of agenda setting is topics and attributes.With the development of the Internet age,the correlation between topics and attributes has also become the focus of agenda setting research.This paper studies media agenda setting around the above three points.When studying the setting of media issues,the frequency of media reports is used as a measure to study the distribution of significant issues and their importance ranking.When researching media attribute setting,the research mainly focuses on substantive attribute and emotional attribute setting.When researching media issues or attribute relevance settings,the social network analysis method is used to visualize media reports,and from a macro perspective,how media reports build the relevance between issues or attributes.Based on the above research on media agenda setting in public opinion events,this paper proposes the following strategies for the media to accurately disseminate and guide public opinion in online public opinion events.Issue setting level: 1.Leverage authoritative information sources to expand the influence of issues;2.Grasp the timeliness and use "time lag" skillfully to set the order of issues.Attribute setting: 1.Emphasize the opinions of opinion leaders and deepen substantive attributes;2.Make good use of language to convey emotions and use stories to highlight humanistic care.At the level of relevance of media issues or attributes: 1.Constructing a media discourse system and forming a new interpretation of attributes;2.Paying attention to the refinement of attributes,and paying attention to the logical relationship between media issues and attributes.This study is based on the background of the epidemic era,taking the agenda setting theory as a reference,and taking media reports as the starting point and foothold.It aims to comprehensively point out the direction for the accurate dissemination and guidance of online public opinion in public opinion events by the media,and provide reference ideas for media reporting practice.
