In "Twelfth five-year" period,Guangdong adapted to the new normal economic development and completed successfully the goals and tasks.The ?Thirteenth five-year? period is a decisive stage of building a well-off society,Gongdong seek improvement in stability,and will continue to supply side structural reforms,expanding aggregate demand,as a whole all the work,smooth to keep the pro vince's economic and social development.Gongdong's development is in an important period of strategic opportunities,but also facing with many challenges.Reform achievements have not really benefit to families,income distribution gap is still widespread,Urban per capita disposable income and the ratio of the per capita net income of rural residents from 1980 to 1.72:1 gradually expanding in 2015 to 2.60:1,The income gap between urban and rural areas is obvious.Correspond to the income gap,some variables related to the factors of human capital also has a gap between the urban and rural,and closely associated with the formation and expanding of the income gap between urban and rural areas.With economic growth,Guangdong province has increased the investment in human capital in urban and rural areas,but there is a big difference in investment.Does the imbalance of urban and rural human capital investment result in the income gap between urban and rural residents?In this background,this paper takes Guangdong province as the research object,using the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis to summarize the previous studies,and the related theories about human capital and the income gap between urban and rural areas.Using comparison analysis describes the gap between urban and rural human capital of Guangdong province reality show and change situation,and the present situation of the urban and rural residents income gap characteristics and trends.Based on the current situation of these two aspects and the mechanism of human capital's effect on urban and rural income disparity,using the O LS model,it studies the influence of human capital disparity on the income gap between urban and rural residents in Guangdong province from 1995 to 2015.According to the results,the article put forward some measures to narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas of Guangdong province.Through the comprehensive analysis and studies,there are the following main conclusions in this paper:(1)This article uses the urban and rural income ratio in the analysis of the characteristics of the income gap between urban and rural areas in Guangdong province,1995-2015,Guangdong urban and rural residents income gap appeared a from decline to rise and fall process.The change process of it and the regulation of national policy are inseparable.From the horizontal comparison,it is clear that Guangdong and other provinces is almost the same change trend.It reflects the consistency of the effect of the economic system reform and policy factors to provinces.From the points region in Guangdong province,it is easy to see that the regional development in Guangdong province is uneven.(2)In Guangdong province,urban and rural human capital is also different apparently: From four aspects of the human capital quality,accumulation ability,the structure and flow analyzes the present situation of human capital of Guangdong province,found that the human capital in rural areas is far behind the town.(3)This paper sets up the time series model based on the sample data of 1995-2015.It shows that education,health,the differences of human capital and urbanization level widen residents' income gap between urban and rural areas in Guangdong province.At last,the article summarizes the results of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis above and proposes some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas.(1)We will increase investment in rural education and improve the situation of rural education.(2)We will accelerate the development of the rural medical and health care system.(3)We will energetically develop agriculture and increase farmers' income.(4)Establishing a unified and open labor market.
