In the total labor force in China, the number of migrant workers accounted for about one-third.They are special products under urban-rural system, solve the problem of migrant workers' income has always been one of the main topic about people's livelihood problem.According to human capital theory, education is the main way of human capital accumulation,it is also an important factor of wage income. So,I'll study peasant workers' education return in this paper. This dissertation uses the method of theoretical and empirical.Human capital theory is the first to research education's economic value. It holds that education can directly improve the labor productivity,to improve personal income, and promote economic growth. The second generation of human capital theory thinks that education is more of a "signal" function. In the empirical study sector, this dissertation uses CHIP2002,2008,2013 survey data of the migrants, and applies Mincer income equation to estimate the rural-urban migrants'return of all levels education by OLS method. Results indicate that the average return of education investment is decreased and it is just 4.16%at 2013.The return to junior high schooland primary school is no longer significant and rural vocational education' return is lower than the general high school education.Good grades and migration policy can significantly improve the level of peasant workers'income, also can increase the return of education.Accordingly, this dissertation further puts forward suggestions on the improvement of rural education. Finally, the author provides several policy suggestions.Such as improve the operating mechanism of labor market, improve rural education quality.
