The essence of education lies in the continuous improvement of life character,intrinsic virtue and the greatest possibility of human life.Unfortunately,in the modern context,traditional education ignores the cultivation of human nature.The single instigation and the one-sided discipline education have caused the shelter of human life and spirit.The "political" and"moral" game of education has stimulated the discussion of how to establish the subjective status of human beings.In the twentieth century,Paulo Freire,the famous Brazilian educator,put forward the idea of education for liberation thought aimed at cultivating human's critical consciousness and promoting human freedom and liberation.His thought began with the critique of the third world,which is a compassionate concern for people in socially disadvantaged situations and a strong call for equal and respectful treatment of every life.It aims to make people free and liberate.Freire's position clearly argues that emancipatory educational thought is "education of the oppressed",his "education of oppressed" and "hope education" have significant influence on education sector.In view of the various perplexities of education in modern society,this paper explores the core value of Freire's liberation education thought and explains its modern educational value according to the background of thought-the logical content-the meaning interpretation.Freire's liberation education thought is different from the violent revolution of the revolutionary era,or the so-called national liberation,political liberation.His liberation thought is humanized from the meaning of human nature.Freire put forward the importance of reflection and critical ability,and is committed to making people aware of their survival and the existence of value,and thus realize the liberation of consciousness,which is the starting point of freedom toward liberation;the democratic and dialogue way of human education is the important means to make people free and liberate which is committed to the realization of individual life value;the ultimate liberation of human nature is the purpose of human liberation.Freire see education as human life,and firmly believe that education has the moral nature of morality.The education for liberation is instructive for the problem that the moral education ignores the subjectivity of person.We can learn the ideas of dialogue teaching,question-based education and democratic education from Freire's liberation education,and inject new vitality into our modern moral education.
